Exactly What I Needed!

Staff was exceptional on check-in. We got a room on the back side of the hotel to avoid noise from the major road on the entrance side. Many restaurants immediately available within two blocks of the hotel. Room was perfect for our overnight stay. Checkout was noon, so we had a leisurely morning prior to our departure!

Our trip was for only a few hours on a drive to FL from NY to catch some sleep but everything there was great. Nice big room with a comfortable bed. The staff was also very nice. Good hotel!!

there were people constantly walking up and down the stairs, making noise, the trash man decided to come at at around 3am and was very loud right outside the door...but you get what you pay for, so i cant complain, over all, it wasn't a bad stay.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment. No reservations after 3pm on Sundays.

Staff was great and always very helpful, room was good size, but bedspreads were torn, shower curtain was also torn with holes. Beds were very hard, and the room had very thin walls, heard every sound going down halls.

Unfortunately, my stay at this particular hotel was a dissapointment for the price I paid, even while discounted.
The hotel was a bit rundown. My room had just one small bar of soap for toiletrees. I had just two small towels and one washcloth to use, and they had stains. The shower drain was not really draining. There were no tissues in the tissue compartment, and the toilet paper was not in the toilet paper compartment. And there was a big hole in the wall by the wash sink, were there probably should have been a hair dryer.
There wasn't any helpful information in the hotel room. There wasn't even a Gideon bible! The bed cover looked like it had some burn holes. The rug was a little dirty. Some of the room lights weren't working. There didn't seem to be any elevators, nor did I see any vending or ice machines. And there wasn't any coffee to drink, not even to buy. I noticed the hotel had a resturant and lounge but it was not operating. It was just being used for storage.
And there was a train roaring through nearby, every half hour.
The one good thing about staying at this inn was how convieniantly close it was to my primary destination.
Atleast, the one front desk clerk was quite nice, along with the manager. But I don't believe the manager trully knew how to run an effective hotel, because he was somewhat eager to know from me what I knew about hotel management. I certainly would've been happy to help him out, but I didn't have the time and I don't live close enough to his hotel.

The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you, but this is an old, run-down motel.
I would not recommend an extended stay.
It is just a place to sleep, with few amenities.
If you are an early riser, then the whistle-blowing train at 5AM will be a treat.

not so good for the price

This hotel is over priced and the money we paid was not worth it 246 for the weekend. the rooms seems outdated they did not even have a microwave in the rm but had a refrigerator. Breakfast was 9.99 a piece and the people who cleaned the rooms were talking loudly in the hallway in the a.m. The hampton is were we usually stay and it is much better than courtyar. Very disappointed

The people weren't very friendly, the noise was very loud, kids running up/down halls . then we got socked with $400.00 for the room not being left clean and the general manager laughed at me on the phone for disputing the charges because I had left the room clean and he said he found ashes all over the room from smoking when noone was smoking in the room only once outside by the pool with permission from staff member. I feel we were labeled from then and since we were from out of town they felt they could just keep on charging for anything would not stay there again or reccommend anyone to unless you want bad service

Having stayed at another hotel when I've been in Fayetteville on business, I can say this hotel is much better. The breakfast options and availability of coffee at any time are a plus for those who don't want to drive to a separate location, and it was quiet, clean, safe, and convenient to where I needed to be.

As other reviewers have noted the hotel is a little hard to find. However, once we got there we were very impressed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
The suite was large and clean. The hotel was located 5 minutes from Ft Bragg, which was our destination.

Niice hotel but watch your wallet

The hotel was in a very convenient location and was very clean, comfortable and had a great indoor pool. Since indoor pools are uncommon in the area, this was a plus.
I had prepaid my reservation and was surprised to see two charges appear on my cc once I returned home -- in the amounts of $20 and $30. When I called about them, I was told they were for "incidentals" and that if nothing was found to be wrong with the room, the charges would be removed in a few days. Seems to me that if they already had my cc information, they could apply those charges only if something had been discovered wrong in the room -- I don't like this policy and let it be known.

Visiting son at Ft. Bragg. Very close to the base. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very spacious and well maintained and clean. Had a nice breakfast every morning. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at! We will stay there every time we go back to visit our son.

The Extended Stay Fayetteville on Owen Drive was very basic. All your basic needs were satisfied- it was almost like a studio apartment but simply decorated. It fit my needs while I stayed there. I found only two faults- the first was the traffic at all hours of the day and night, a very busy intersection. The second was that the first morning the maintenance man came into the room unannounced while I was still in bed. I wasn't bothered again but it was an uncomfortable situation for the two of us.

My son was returning from Iraq so we were bringing his car and clothes back to him, and visiting with him for a few days. It was a cute room, there was a bedroom, a sitting room and a little kitchen. It was very quiet and relaxing. It rained every day so we did not use the pool. But the staff was very friendly. They were very cooperative and gave us a first floor room for better convenience. I would definitely stay again.

when I booked my reservation online, the site said there was an airport shuttle, I got to the airport and called the hotel for them to pick me up to find out they didn't have one and to call a cab, a 20 dollar cab ride later I arrived and the parking lot had a bunch of drunks yelling and puking in the parking lot. I went in and the person working there was in their pajamas. It took her a while to find my reservation and finally I got my room. When I got up in the morning to leave, I went to the office to check out and no one was there and the door was locked. I waited outside for my cab, the drunks from the previous night were still there. Will never stay there again!

It is not in a great area but it is very close to the malls and restruants. It is in an awkward location. You have to make U turns.

Value for the money is excellent. There are other hotels in the area charing $20 more for the same thing. Non-Smoking room was truly a non-smoking room.
Staff was friendly, efficient and overall strived to meet our needs.

Value Place is an extended-stay hotel. Our rates are priced for a minimum one week stay, and are not adjusted to a daily rate if the stay is less than one week. When your stay goes into the next week, another weekly rate is charged. However, even though many people decide to stay with us for months, many guests staying less than one week find us less expensive than traditional hotels. Room fees and a 100.00 USD refundable deposit are due at time of arrival. The 100.00 USD deposit is charged upon move in even if the room is placed on a credit card hold. Deposit is refunded at move out pending no damages or owed charges. Front desk hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM, Saturday 10AM-2PM and closed Sunday. After hours move-in must call extension 500 and the security guard will be paged to assist guests. Enjoy your stay in a clean, safe, and economical environment. No reservations after 3pm on Sundays.

I was very unsatisfied due to thinking this was a hotel. Well it wasn't and the beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on besides the ground which I might as well have been. My mother and I both have had back surgery and this wasn't very comfortable. The though that I had to furnish my own toilet paper and no hand towels was even strange. I was ready to go home and that was sad considering I was there to see a new Grandchild and Son and Daughter-in-law. This was a sad experience for me. It was in a terrible neighborhood for two single older women to stay by there self.

Was there visiting family...bed was very uncomfortable...very thin pillows....and the towels were kinda small and thin too....but overall it was a great deal for a clean nice-sized quiet room.

Class reunion

Really enjoyed my stay here May 2011. Had already booked a room, but needed to stay a day earlier. Called, and hotel staff was able to get me in. That was a plus. Bed was comfortable and I like that there was a laundry room. Computer room was nice to have as well. Didn't use the pool or exercise room, but there's one.
Breakfast was fantastic. I was expecting fruit and toast, but was pleasantly surprised with grits and eggs.
