Think of the Four Oaks Lodging as your overnight home. We are situated at a crossroads of Hwy 301 Hwy 701 and I-95 -exit 90 that makes it an ideal stop for the true traveler. Close to Raleigh and with easy access from I-95 -exit 90 its on the direct route to Myrtle Beach Wilmington and Emerald Isle. The campground also is conveniently midway between the Northeast and Florida.

got away from this getaway

we didn't wait for the continental breakfast, because the owners didn't get in on time. no bath towels in the bathroom, only one small towel for hair and one washcloth apiece. bathroom door hit the commode if you opened it too far.

Great value, Clean rooms

Rooms are clean! it is an older motel, but It was clean and bug free! great free wi-fi and lots of cable channels, much more that many chain motels. Have to say we were surprised how clean and up to date the rooms were... Outside is older looking, but rooms are very nice. Not far from the outlet mall and great places to eat. Will Make this our regular stop each year.

overrated

We have chosen this motel because of the excellent reviews we read about the establishment. Grease stains on the sheet, muddy smell in the nonsmoking room, huge gap at the door hinge and being a cold night we had to use non-stop the extremely noisy, old heater. Only one of us was able to have a shower for a few minutes, then we had icy water in the bathroom. There was nobody at the office when we wanted to check out. After ringing the bell three times and waiting 5 minutes, a young lady showed up, but refused to take any responsibility for not providing enough hot water. The promised breakfast was missing, but we got a wrapped cookie. They have microwave, TV and refrigerator(unplugged) in the room and otherwise the room was clean, but anybody can find a better deal for the same price in the area.

Looks are deceiving!

The building appears to have been built back in the 50's but everything in our room was up to date & VERY clean! The ice maker was right out the door & worked very well. The motel was only 2 exits from the Prime Outlets. We'll stay again because of the value & they accept our pets.
