Clarion Hotel Airport

I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. THE STAFF WAS RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. THE ROOM DIDN'T HAVE ANY TOWELS. WE CALLED THE FRONT DESK A MILLION TIMES AND NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE. MANAGER WAS SUPPOSE TO CALL ME BACK AND NO ONE DID!! THIS SHOULD BE A 2 STAR HOTEL!!

This was our second stay at the Clarion and everything was as expected. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. Convenient to the interstate, nearby shopping centers and many sit down restaurants. Legends Bar and Grill, located inside the hotel, was also a success. Super friendly bartenders, great drinks, and good food (try the chicken wings) :-) We live local but when in need of a hotel, this is where we stay!

The non-smoking room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. They did have a air purifier in the room but since the smell had seeped into the facbric on the bed and furniture it did not do much. Their were aunts on the bathroom floor and when I went to wash my face I noticed the "clean" wash cloth had hair all over it. I was not comfortable and could not sleep because every time I turned it would stir up the stale smoke smell. The room was also very dark and dingy looking, not like the photos shown.

You get what you pay for when it comes to hotels. The only reason that I chose this hotel was because I was attending a New Year's party there and didn't want to drive. Not trying to sound uppity or anything but I prefer the clean, fresh, airy and more up to date hotels. I paid eighty dollars and I got an eighty dollar hotel. Not that it wa bad though. I just wouldn't stay there again because I like nicer hotels. The only complaint that I have is that the heater does not get nearly hot enough. I put it on high, left for three hours and came back, and the room was barely warm. It was like lukewarm air. Maintenance said that there was nothing that could be done. Don't chance booking here during the winter.

I had planed my trip after Mermorial day do to state policies on pool openings, I was ashured by the hotel that the pool would be so. also for the fact they had free shuttle service a attached resturaunt that was open @ 10pm couse I was landing @ 9pm , free brekfast , I got to the hotel to see that the pool was instead closed for 3 diffrent reasons I got from 3 diffrent staff members, the restuaunts kitchen was Closed @ 9:15pm so no meal. i was already hungry enough to chew my own arm when i got there. I made due however with all this. but the straw that snaped my back was waking up thinking at the least i can get a decint brekfast. NOT that now went from Free to $9.00. not to mention the roach in my room that i could of sold tickets for rides on , Got a pic of it if anyone cares to see ..., Not all was bad though I will say the gentleman that operated the Shuttle was nice he went out of his way to take me to get some food and great conversation upon the way. so my recomendation is you need transpertation that is great and frindly please stay at this hotel but if you want anything else check out another this is not worth it and I will not visit another Clarion do to the experience of this one
