Microtel Inn and Suites University Medical Park

The hotel is nice. Hotel staff was great. Room was nice and comfortable. Only negative is that the walls are thin. I could hear the guy snoring in the next room. Overall we had a great stay.

Upset that I did not get wake up call that was promised - late for appointment. talked to front desk and was told I could have set the clock in room (which was not working) or set my cell phone (which was not with me) Those were the reasons I asked for call in the first place. - My comfort or satisfaction was not a priority. I asked how to get my Wyndam rewards and none of them (3) could tell me what to do nor did they care.

the hotel is close to the medical side of the campus. it was a clean room which had heat and a/c. the room was small not much room to speadout in. small free breakfast in the morning.

As far as the building and our room went, the hotel was great. It was clean and nicely furnished and the staff was friendly. The other guests, however, were noisy when they returned to the hotel and woke us up between 2 and 3am. We continued to hear the guests next door to us until at least 4am. We were across from the elevator and were also awakened when guests were leaving the next morning. The walls must be incredibly thin. There was also a fire drill or a guest who pulled a fire alarm the following morning before our checkout.

This was just an ordinary room in an ordinary hotel. Nothing remarkable and nothing unremarkable.

The staff was very polite and helpful with directions. The breakfast had many choices and the rooms were really clean. I really liked that you could control the temprature of your room and was amazed with hw comfy the bed was. I would recomend this hotel to anyone

Overall the hotel was fine. The breakfast was very nice. Food was plentiful. The problem I had was that my room was three rooms from the main lobby on the 1st floor. I heard every guest checking in and any traffic in the hallway all night long. Breakfast began at 6:30 am but set up began at 6 am and the staff spoke very loudly to each other. Also, there was a conference room across the hall. There were educational sessions going on both days that I was there. They set up early and had absolutely no respect for the fact that people might want to sleep. If you choose this hotel, request a 2nd floor room away from the front desk and any ice machines and you will probably be okay. If you are visiting ECU, the hotel is very conveniently located. If you are a patient at PCMH, the hotel is directly across the street.

Planned to stay two nights. Checked out after the first night and ate the second night's charge to move to a different hotel. Stains all over carpet, stains on couch cushions, some type of liquid appeared to have been sprayed all over one wall.

Was there for an ECU softball tournament. I was trying to save money and this is a great place to stay for the price. It was my third stay here and I will definately stay again on future trips. It's clean and everyone is very friendly.
