We had a corner room with easy access in and out of the hotel. Service was great and staff was pleasant. Good location near shopping and many food choices. We booked our travel package through Orbitz and included the flight, room and vehicle rental. This was great and extremely easy!

We had a great time at this hotel. We booked two rooms and one of the rooms needed to stay an additional night. Newer staff on the front desk forgot to contact Orbitz to add the extra night. When we checked back after breakfast, we were all set to go. Experienced staff was appreciated.
Our one bad thing was that the hotel's pool was damaged in the hurricane. We were told by staff we could use a pool nearby - Good thing -... but they did not say how far away it was and that you would have to drive there!
Breakfast was great and the rooms were comfortable. The rooms compare very well with some of the other hotels nearby,

Cheap, great location, staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room smelled horrible however, my friend described it as "old beef jerky". Also smelled like smoke even though there were no smoking signs. There are no curtains, only a thin white sheet, goodluck sleeping in. We hung our comforter in front of the window so we could sleep. Overall, we got what we paid for. The beds were comfortable and we were close to everything.

The staff was friendly. The rooms average. I was disapointed with breakfast. The room was too small. There wasn't butter for the waffles.

I visited my Fiance in Jacksonville. There is a free shuttle service to and from the airport which was great for me because my Fiance was at work when my plane landed. The hotel was only 10 minutes away from base. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Really nice quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I had a great weekend :)

There were lots of places to eat and shop around the hotel. I was there for business in Camp Lejeune and obviously very close to that as well. I had asked for a non-smoking room, but got a whiff of smoke as soon as I walked into the room. My reservation was listed as smoking and was pretty sure that I marked that online, but may have been mistaken. The room was clean, but was disappointed with the comfort level as the toilet seat would not stay up on its own nor did the water temperature stay consistent in the shower.

I visit my friend from the Marine base, room was very hot when i arrived and the air-conditioning didn't kick in till the next morning. I wish there had been more pillows, there were 5 small square pillows that didn't cover the king bed. I would probably not stay at this hotel again unless i absolutely had to.

I traveled to Jacksonville to visit my son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune. It was an overnight visit.
While my time at the motel was limited, it was very apparent that not much time or money was put into the motel to give it a good appearance. The fire place in the main lobby was not operating and the staff said that they could not remember the last time that it even worked. The staff was very friendly and this was the best part of the stay.

Slightly disappointed in room

A few areas need to be addressed in the bathroom. First, the toilet paper holder needed to be attached to the wall better and there were paint splatters on it that were not the color of the wall. Also, around the top of the shower enclosure there is a lot of white ceiling paint - care was NOT taken when painting the ceiling! I should also mention that I found a better room at another hotel, a little bigger, more amenities in the room and MUCH cheaper than what I paid for this one.

Hotel was very close to Camp Lejune . Hotel even provided printed directions to camp. Hotel office staff were very nice and helpful with directions to other pionts of interest. The only bad thing was the walls had little or no sound proofing. You heard every thing going on around you . Lots of people coming in and out in the early AM.Other than that a nice clean room for the price.

The Quality Inn in Jacksonville, NC has good and bad. The check-in staff were wonderful, giving us helpful information on directions and activities in the area. Very friendly staff! The hotel appears old and in need of updating. The room was a standard hotel room, however the recliner in the room was very worn and appeared dirty. The room itself could have been cleaned more thoroughly, however it is an older hotel and there is only so much cleaning staff can do to freshen up an old place. The bed was comfortable - no complaints there. At 2am we were awakened by people fighting outside our room - clearly intoxicated and this continued until 2:25 as they duked it out inside their room, with people being thrown against the walls. This can happen at any hotel - but just colored the opinion of the area the hotel is located. The hotel was booked solid that evening, so we had no other choices available for our stay. Summary - Staff is excellent; hotel needs major updating; Try not to stay on a weekend to limit the party goers that can control their liquor intake.

Very Comfortable

This was sudden, no chance to plan things in advance. My Mother died on Sunday, November 20, 2011. On Monday, the 21st, it was determined that her funeral would have to be on Tuesday, the 22nd. I went on-line that morning and made the arrangements for the room. Thanks to all the friends and relatives that came to the Funeral Home, I was not able to get there until that night. The room was ready and waiting, the bed was comfortable and was a welcome rest. Check-out the next morning was smooth and we were even given a discount for bereavement. With all the tension, pressure and worry surrounding us, this chance to rest and relax was very welcome.

After looking at many hotels in the Camp Lejeune area I came across the Fairfield Inn and Suites. The hotel received great reviews and there was no wonder why. The location was wonderful and although the room was a little bit smaller than I thought it was clean and perfect for my short stay. There was a refrigerator in the room, which was very convenient to have as well. The location of the hotel was great. Close to restaurants and other things to do (and Camp Lejeune!). The hotel did experience some damage from Hurricane Irene, which I did not know about until after I checked into my room (although there was supposedly a sign in the lobby). There was construction literally right outside of my first floor room. Drilling, hammering, loud music, and talking starting at 8 and lasting all day. We did not check in until 3:30am and were hoping for a good nights rest. We were very disappointed with not being able to get much rest and the snide and rude comments we received when we called the front desk. We were being nothing but polite and courteous, we were simply trying to figure out what was going on and why I received a room directly next to the construction, not a room down the hall or on the inside of the hotel.
The room was great, clean, good price, and prime location. However, the way we were treated has left a sour taste in my mouth and has caused me to consider finding another hotel when my family and I travel back to Lejeune in a week or so. I am very disappointed in how things ended up.

My wife and I use this for accomodations when fishing at Surf City. Beach accomodations are always at a premium. Extended Stay offers full size kitchens, sitting area with a table and all the bedding, yes even the comforters are laundried between customers. This is the fourth time we have stayed at an Extended Stay. [...], as always was very accomodating. Thanks!

Outdoor seasonal pool and free wireless high-speed Internet access in all rooms. No pets allowed.

I went to Jacksonville NC, to visit my son who in the USMC. I enjoyed the city very much. This was my first visit to Jacksonville, so when I chose a motel, it was kinda lets spin the wheel and take a shot. There is so many around the area. Overall the InnKeeper was good. The Continental Breakfast, could of been better. and the cleaning staff could of came before 5pm to clean the room. I would stay there again, I will be visiting again in late October, I will probably book the InnKeeper again. So many things close by. Camp Lejune, only 5 miles away, along with many fine Resturants close to the area. along with shopping.

Relatively close to camp lejeune! Overall experience was excellent. Once in a while, you get employees come in to the room for housekeeping...even if you're still in the room. There aren't any "do not disturb" door notices available, so if you don't mind sacrificing privacy for cleanliness, this is the place to stay. No bugs or insects compared to higher priced hotels in the area! Which I love. Reasonable price. Very accomadating. Only one complaint, not much of a breakfast variety. Cereal and mini danishes. However, due to great location, there are a variety of restaurants across the street, grocery stores, shopping center, buffet. Can't walk over, vehicle recommended

I liked this hotel. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the location was very close to the base.
A word of advice: If you plan any kind of revelry, you may want to avoid doing it here. The hotel is very quiet, and the like to keep it that way. There is a sort of zero tolerance policy for noise.

We went to Jacksonville to welcome my son back from Afghanistan. The hotel was conveinently located near camp lejeune. Extremely clean room, full kitchen, pillow top mattresses very comfortable. Very nice, pleasant room. We will definately stay here again, and other candlewood suites. Great experience!! Location was nice a service road to get to, so although on a main hwy not noisy.

We were in Jacksonville to visit our son who is a Marine at Camp Lejeune. The two bedroom suite was just right to give him rare privacy and still accomocate the rest of the family. The living room and table with 4 chairs allowed us a place to visit. The hotel was relatively close to the base but far enough away to be crowded by partying Marines.
