Served a purpose
The hotel was a older one and you could tell. The door to the room wouldn't open right and thebed spread had cigarette burns in it. The staff when we askedfor more pillows could only give us two more and that was the next day.

roach in room then we changed rooms and that room had hair in the tub and urine in back of the toilet seat once it was closed

It is, what it is
I have stayed here before and personally really like the fact that I can drive up to my room. The comments about bugs is not what it seems. These bugs are waterbugs native to this area and since hotel has outside entrances, I can see how they sometimes get in. I have had them in rooms when I have stayed at other hotels in the area. I like this hotel because of how easy it is to use and the friendly desk staff. Waffle House being on property is a plus also.

Great Location
I visited my Fiance in Jacksonville. There is a free shuttle service to and from the airport which was great for me because my Fiance was at work when my plane landed. The hotel was only 10 minutes away from base. There is a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. Really nice quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I had a great weekend :)

Ruff and Ready
Not what I expected
The room smelled of midew through out but more in the bathroom where there was a hole in the sheetrock around the shower head. This could have been the source of the smell or it may have been from the carpet. Just could not tell. Had to leave the bathroom vent on all night to make the smell tolerable. Breakfast was just OK nothing special.

Great location and value but not much else
There were lots of places to eat and shop around the hotel. I was there for business in Camp Lejeune and obviously very close to that as well. I had asked for a non-smoking room, but got a whiff of smoke as soon as I walked into the room. My reservation was listed as smoking and was pretty sure that I marked that online, but may have been mistaken. The room was clean, but was disappointed with the comfort level as the toilet seat would not stay up on its own nor did the water temperature stay consistent in the shower.

Get what you pay for
The hotel isn't anything special. For the price you pay, it's what you would expect. It's somewhere to sleep and that's all I needed it for. The staff was friendly.

Low point of trip
Room had terrible offensive odor. Paint and plaster crumbling off bathroom walls. Room did not appear clean. Did have a good continental breakfast.
