Place was clean and efficient, except the place is poorly constructed and designed. Our room door was hung wrong and there was a 1/2 gap at the top. Bathroom was poorly designed as you could not close the door standing at the sink.

Nice place to stay
I was quite frustrated at first. I was told, via a phone call that I could be picked up for free from the airport if I stayed at this hotel. When I called for a ride - they said they did not offer that service. I saw on their website they had a pool. It did not say it was only open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. I was sad. Room was very clean, comfy bed, small towels, alarm clock did not work, nice view, friendly staff, good breakfast, working computer, no printer paper.

"Perfect for traveling with kids"
This Hotel is located right in the middle of everything. From shopping, dining, and entertainment. The staff was very nice as well!

Great location for the marine Corps base
Very friendly staff and extremely courteous.Room was superb and the place was very quiet. I would highly recommend.

Nice place to stay
hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Survey - Sleep Inn & Suites
This was our second stay at the Sleep Inn and Suites. It's almost unfair to give an honest assessment of the hotel room because we shared the room with our adult daughters and one wanted the room at a cold temperature while the other wanted the room at a warm temperature. So, I suffered because the room temperature was not confortable for me. And, as I stated before, the heating unit was just a little bit too noisy for me.

great stay
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Usually you can't find decent places to stay in Jacksonville, NC but I have no problem recommending this one.

Nothing Special
Very heavy smoke smell on 3rd floor rooms. Not so friendly staff--never around when you need them. Breakfast was good.

Sleep Inn & Suites Jacksonville, NC
I stayed here for a month in 2007 because there was no room on base while I was in town attending a school. I knew the location was good and the hotel was clean and quiet. My only complaint would be that the checkout time posted in the room was 12:00 and at 11:15 the hotel staff came to my room and asked why I hadn't checked out. I pointed out that it said 12:00 and the hotel staff's response was " It used to be but, we changed it". Not a big deal however I think I should have been notified of change when checking in. If your in town on business, visiting a Marine on base, or just passing through I'd recommend this hotel.
