The newly renovated Econo lodge Inn and Suites is located minutes from the Wilmington Airport and the historic downtown area of Wilmington. We are close to shopping, restaurants and the beaches of North Carolina. We are centrally located to the Bellamy Mansion Museum, Battleship Memorial and the Cape Muesum. Our hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool, complimentary breakfast featuring -make your own waffles- as well as free wifi, microfridges, 32 inch TVs and hairs dryers in our our rooms. We have banquet space to host your meetings, family reunions and weddings. We welcome busses, tours and groups of all types.

1 Night stay

the comforter was gross. Bedding had "personal" hair left on it from the people before us. We asked for more pillows and they said that they couldn't bring us any. our friends were staying in the room next to us, and neither the latch lock or dead bolt worked. When they asked to me transferred to another room, the staff argued with them and wouldn't give them another room until our friends argued with them for 30 min. I guess that's what's to be suspected when "econo" is in the name of the hotel

overnight beach day

we only went for an overnight stay to go to the beach. room was ok except for a running toilet, remote did not work, and no light bulb working.

Not impressed

When I got to my room, I turned on the light switch and nothing happened. So I entered a dark room by myself and tried to turn on the table lamp and it didnt work, so I went to the wall lamp and that didnt work either because it didnt have a light bulb. I had to go in the bathroom to turn on the light. I had to call main desk for some light bulbs. Really! and the hotel was not in a good part of town.

Downdown shopping district was great and close to airport.
