Good, but had some issues . . .

Location was great, but a selling point for us, the hot tub was not working when we got there. Everything else was fine, not luxurious, but clean and met our needs. There was a noise problem with very loud partying in the next room for 2 nites. Front desk did not handle it after 3 reports, so we had to call the police to calm it down. However, the property mgr. has already responded to my email and assured me we will get a 2 nite refund. I am very satisfied with her excellent response and customer service.

Made a trip to Fargo to shop. Nice town with most familiar stores in one area so you don't have to drive around a lot. Also, Fargo has a vast variety of restaurants. Whatever you are feeling or looking for, you can generally find it. The Ramada is conveniently located across the street from the West Acres Mall so if the weather's cooperating, you can park in the Hotel's parking lot and walk. The only complaint that I have concerning the hotel is that it appeared that all of the the pillow cases and bedding hadn't been changed.

This hotel has a great location- blocks from the best shopping and a $5 cab ride downtown for a night on the town. Kids loved the pool, it's older but that means bigger and deeper compared to most. Newly remodeled with a great patio and gaming in the lounge. We had a great weekend.

We had a fast check in and the room was very comfortable. There was a sauna,very large pool and a spa. We also had a spa in our room and a separate vanity for both of us.We had lot of restaurants very close by and Fargos largest mall. Our stay was perfect and my wife and I will be back next year.

Room was very nice, 2 queens, frig,microwave, coffee, and internet. (roomy too) My only complaint was the bathroom door did not lock (malfunction) so my grandaughter would not stay out. Pool was small but fine. Nice breakfast spread.

The Hotel and Staff were very nice. We did have trouble with the sleep number bed at first but the maintenance staff fixed the problem right away. We had a very comfortable relaxing stay and would

The late check-in staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She gave great recommendations for late night dining and directions.
The room was spotless and very comfortable.
The only negative to staying here was the noise level - The hallway was very noisy with guests until about 1:30 AM. In the morning, I could hear the entire conversation of the person next door through the very thin walls.

Fun Overnight Trip for the Kids!

Spent two days at the Holiday Inn with kids ages 3, 5 & 7. The kids absolutely loved the pirate ship pool. It was a great set-up for all kids involved.
The room was clean and comfortable. No fridge to keep extra food and the restaurant is a bit spendy (however, kids <12 eat free). Lots of shopping and restaurants near.
We had one disturbance in the middle of the night that required a complaint to the front desk and they took care of it immediately.
We would definitely stay again as the kids loved the pool and are begging to go back.

Pretty average stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. The big flat screen TV and a decent choice of channels was a plus. Since this Holiday Inn also doubles as a convention center, the place was crowded with convention goers. Parking was a little problem during the day.
The lunch buffet was provided a good selection of salad items and a choice of carved ham and beef stroganoff. They were both pretty good.

It was move-in day at the university, lots of guests.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room was clean, smelled clean, tv worked and was great, lots of space.
Hot tub/spa was not very hot, pool room was chilly, breakfast was lacking, no waffle mix, no scrambled eggs, no milk, most things ran out, muffins were COLD.
We have stayed here before and had good breakfast, may need more staff for a busy weekend.

This property has an old worn out look to it upon entering the lobby. The air conditioning was not working at the check in on this hellacious hot day with temps in the high 90's. The air condioning worked in the room, although it was rather loud. The only problem in our room was that the stopper in the bathroom sink did not stay shut.I reported this problem at checkout and they apoligized for the inconvenience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was real comfortable, and the breakfast was way above average.Due to the aged appearance of this property, I truly believe the price per night is a bit too high in relation to the competion in this market.Apparently major renovations are in the works.

If you are like me and like to travel then you look forward to all aspects of the trip. One of the best things at the end of a day of travelling and shopping is returning to a nice, comforting hotel room. Ironically this was not the case at the Comfort Inn. When we first entered our room we noticed the rug had not been vacuumed and there were crumbs all over the floor.The next event was the bathroom. If you like broom closets...this hotel is for you. Thirdly we had a room on the main floor. Several times a night we were woken up by children running or jumping at odd hours. Finally, after using the hot tub, I nearly got sick there was so much clorine added to the water. I usually never complain about hotels, but if you are looking for good value and comfort for your money, I would avoid the Comfort Inn.

While staying at the Fairfield Marriott in Fargo ND, I was very pleased with the experience. The rooms are very comfortable. I was able to work undisturbed and rest undisturbed. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a room with a king and two double beds...very large. It unexpectedly had a fridge and micro as well. The breakfast wasn't much to call home about, and the pool and hot tub needed cleaning, but the room was large, the beds very comfy and the staff was very helpful. It did the trick!

1) We had a non-smoking room on the 3rd floor. When you get to the 3rd floor you smell the stale smoke smell of cig smoke in the hallway. Our room itself was fine. It turns out the 3rd floor has a mix of smoking and non-smoking rooms, hence the stink in the hallway.
2) Very SLOW elevator. We took to using the steps for most trips up and down (better for us anyway).

we were in town for the fargo marathon. we chose this hotel becasue it was in a good location and would be a place most families would not choose as it does not have a pool. the hotel was having major plumbing problems. they fixed them during the night. it was extremely loud. we were unable to get to sleep until after 2 am. they were kind enough to give us a very late check out the next day so we were able to come back and shower after the race.
the employees were polite and the hotel was clean. it just was a bad night. unfortunately, it was an important night for us to get a good night's sleep.

Nice, quiet suite

There was adequate space, and we enjoyed having a refrigerator for our take-out leftovers. The kitchenette gave us the added option of eating in when we didn't want to go out. I like the long narow table just inside the door for keeping purses, keys, etc. handy before we left the room for our exploits. Location was good because it wasn't too close to the mall, yet it was easily driveable to much shopping.

Good place to stay.

This hotel is in a good centralized locaton. The room was quite spacious with an almost full kichen. The staff is friendly, polite, and helpful. The pool actually has a deeper end (5 ft), so you can swim laps without hitting bottom. The only real downsides were-there is no full room cleaning daily, and it's kind of a higher priced hotel. All in all I thought it was a good place to stay.

We came down for the weekend to shop & this hotel was a five minute walk from West Acres Mall. We really enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel & the fact that we had an in suite kitchen. After the fact, we also noticed a BBQ outside and really nice sitting area and pool...thought we weren't there to use the pool, it was small and clean & would be great for smaller chidren. Overall we loved the place. :)

Friendly Staff Makes the Stay

The staff was very friendly and even took the time to talk to and ensure my three-year-old was happy. They quickly responded to our request for extra towels.
The breakfasts were good quality, and, fresh.
The rooms were average for suites, the beds average. They had plenty of pillows, but they were all the same type (overstuffed, foam filled. A good hotel should offer more than one type to meet traveler's needs.

We just needed a nights rest and this hotel came through. The pool was fun and accommodated all of my children, ages 2 to 7. The room was very spacious and fit us all very comfortably. The bathroom was also a great size. We slept great, even though we had to spend 45 minutes in the basement because of a tornado, but the manager dealt with the situation very calmly and professionally. He did great! The breakfast was a fantastic start to our long day ahead of us. Thank you Settle Inn, we will be back!

Newer hotel, got placed in a disabled-friendly room with walk-in shower, no tub. No problem.
Room very modern, nice tv, microwave, fridge, in-room wireless internet, very comfortable bed. Free breakfast ok, the usual items. Good location for travelers, just off I94, close to I29. Afternoon happy hour very nice, free beer and wine and appetizers. One minor negative, howling wind at night sounded like it was blowing down the hall! Not a big deal. Would stay again.

We have enjoyed Hilton Garden Inn's previously, and they were very well staffed with curteous and helpful staff, and the evening staff was very helpfull and curteous here as well.
