Good size suite
Stayed in a suite that was 2 rooms. Had a king size bed and a huge Whirlpool tub. Had 2 flat screen tv's, refrigerator, microwave, and wireless high-speed Internet access. The remote for the bedroom tv did not work. The towels are really rough and very thin. The decorative clock glass face was broken. The door between the bedroom and the living area was scratched as if a dog had been in there and had scratched the door. Room was clean. The bed was comfortable along with the pillows. The bedroom had a separate sink area which is a nice bonus. The pull out couch was not comfortable at all. Thin mattress and metal bar in the middle made for a sore back in the morning. Quick check-in. When I checked out my receipt showed the name was mine but the address was not. Was told another person with the same name must have stayed here before and they made the correction in their computers but didn't re-print another receipt with the correction. So I have the info. for someone who lives in Chicago. Yikes. Pretty laxed on personal info. Overall it was a good stay. If they invest in better towels, I'd stay again.

Will stay here again
This hotel has a great location- blocks from the best shopping and a $5 cab ride downtown for a night on the town. Kids loved the pool, it's older but that means bigger and deeper compared to most. Newly remodeled with a great patio and gaming in the lounge. We had a great weekend.

An old favorite.
We have stayed at this motel for just a few nights a year for many years on our way to the lake in Minnesota. Each year we consider staying somewhere else but have always enjoyed the Doublewood and there is comfort in the familiar. The restaurant is nice, the lounge is nice - both with good food. While it isn't new, the pool and jacuzzi are nice and feel great after a long day of traveling. The staff is all very friendly and helpful.

I was treated right !
We had a fast check in and the room was very comfortable. There was a sauna,very large pool and a spa. We also had a spa in our room and a separate vanity for both of us.We had lot of restaurants very close by and Fargos largest mall. Our stay was perfect and my wife and I will be back next year.
