Desk clerk friendly and helpful. pool was nice..room was nice..Was there for an event at fargo dome was about a 5-10 min drive to there. Nice variety for breakfast but french toast was rubbery.

As expected
My stay at Howard Johnsons in Fargo was just as it was described to me. I was a little worried after reading some of the previous reviews but from the moment we arrived our stay was accomodating and enjoyable. No problems. Wil stay here again.

Good, but had some issues . . .
Location was great, but a selling point for us, the hot tub was not working when we got there. Everything else was fine, not luxurious, but clean and met our needs. There was a noise problem with very loud partying in the next room for 2 nites. Front desk did not handle it after 3 reports, so we had to call the police to calm it down. However, the property mgr. has already responded to my email and assured me we will get a 2 nite refund. I am very satisfied with her excellent response and customer service.

Will not use this this hotel again
Room was noisy due to sounds from heating and air condition equipment. Discussed problem with front desk and was moved to another room for the second night. Second room was reasonably comfortable except I was downgraded to a room with much less comfort. The downgraded room had no fridge or microwave available. Staff was not willing to accomodate me further. I did not get the value that I paid for so I will not use this facility again. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone because of this experience. This hotel is not located close to anything in Fargo, shopping, dining,etc.

The bathroom was dirty,there was mold in the sink and the tub looked like it had not been cleaned. Several of the lamps did not work. When we first walked into room it had that stale smoke smell(ick). I booked this place through [...] which rated it very well and had good reviews. The pictures were very misleading. In fact the picture of the front of HOJO is not that hotel. The area is unpleasant,if you know what I mean. I will never stay at a HOJO again. I paid for a 3 star a lot cheaper on my way home.

No way
Late arrival, and there was no one at the desk. The bar next door was hopping and drunks where walking in the lobby and outside of front door. I wasn't able to check in! Horrible place! No security at all.

wonderfull weekend
We were on a hockey tournament weekend and had a nice time. Was surprized at how much was in fargo.
