Good for the price
Basically we were stopping through Grand Forks for the night on our way to Minneapolis. Hotel was nothing fancy; clean and cheap. Served its purpose. Staff were friendly.

Great place!
Was a great stay, pools were just the right temp. Rooms were clean and good size, breakfast was very good lots of selection. Staff friendly and helpful. location was the best part, a bit tucked away but still close to everything. Enjoyable and relaxing.

excellent service, breakfast excellent lots of selection(included in room price, pool and jacuzzi excellent clean well laid out,close to restaraunts and Columbia Mall, rooms very clean lots of space, fridge, microwave, iron and board in room, would highly recommmend this hotel

Good hotel, close to UND
Rooms clean. Staff friendly. Rooms were warm even when temps outside was freezing. Pool and hot tub were very nice and warm after a cold day outside. Good place to stay for close proximity to UND

Good place to stay
A nice hotel located just south of UND's campus. The room was clean and the wireless internet was reasonably fast. The continental breakfast was typical - nothing special.

Good enough
We stayed for only one night as we were flying out the next morning. It's kind of out of the way from the malls if that is your purpose. Rooms were no frills, but large. Pool area was good with a large hot tub. Breakfast was basic, but free! Free computer use, and they let use the printer to print up our boarding passes.

Winnipeg Shopper
Unbelievably Quiet Rooms
We usually stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites but AmericInn was having a special - buy two nights get the third free. We were slightly skeptical due to some of the other reviews. The hotel is slightly older than some and could use a facelift. The Sauna is closed - looks like permanently and the bottom of the hot tub is peeling. However, other than that the stay was very enjoyable - nice continental breakfast with usual waffles - no bacon or eggs but did have standard breakfast foods. The room was clean and well kept for. The best thing about the hotel was the soundproofing at the AmericInn. The rooms were literally vaults and I have never stayed at a quieter hotel. The hotel was at full capacity with no vacancies and it was still unbelievably quiet in the rooms. The beds were a little soft to our liking but we got a great sleep all three nights. If this hotel would spruce up some of the cosmetics and re-do the sauna and the pool area it would be a huge hit. I would definitely stay there again.

AmericInn Grand Forks-Clean, Comfortable
The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The mattresses were a bit soft. Continental breakfast includes a waffle station where you can make yourself a fresh waffle.

nice stay
We had a very good experience and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very convenient that there was a microwave and fridge in the room because we were traveling with our 3 month old baby.
