Good family get-away.
Overall, our Motel stay was a good experience. The location of the motel to the Mall, eating places & where were visiting family was perfect. Just a few minor complaints.The bathroom was too small for a family of 4. The toilet way to close to the bathtub & door. The chlorine was high in the pool/hot tub, think venilation in the pool area not so good. Staff was great and overall cleanliness of motel great!

Overpriced
First time we stayed at the Comfort Inn. We go to Grand Forks two or three times a year and stayed in a variety of hotels. This one was by far the NOISIEST of any we have ever been at. We were on the main floor and there must have been a cheerleading team staying above us because at about 6:30 in the morning they were jumping around and we could hear yelling, like cheering. We noticed a bunch of teenagers and busses, so there were obviously games going on. Another thing is we felt the hotel was a little overpriced for what they offered. Breakfast was good, location was good, but the TV was old compared to other hotels.

Celeberated the Sioux rewards and the 100 year anniversary of my Nursing School. This at the Universarty of North Dakota!

Great location and friendly staff
We enjoyed our stay in a very large room. There was a problem in the bathroom with the toilet.The hotel could use some upgrading. The staff was great and that made up for the hotel lacked. We went to see the Britney Spears concert and really enjoyed the concert and our hotel which was a very short drive from the venue. . We went to see the Britney Spears concert and it was amazing.

Although we really enjoyed ourselves we found the pricing on the room was over the top, as in extremely overpriced. All in all, it was a good experience and we had a good time.

Hotel needs updating
The Comfort Inn in Grand Forks, ND is in an excellent lcoation; however, the entire hotel needs to be updated. All of the carpets and furnishings are extremely old and in terrible shape. The hallway smelled so much of smoke that even the non-smoking room had the smell of smoke.

This area of the city has lots of shopping opportunities and also a great variety of restaurants.

Great Staff
The staff was very friendly. The only thing I didn't like is the lack of elevator so we have to drag the luggage upstair. Other than that, we are satisfied with the location and the hotel rate.
