Comfort Inn Hastings

We visited family members in Hasting to honor my grandson's confirmation. We enjoyed staying at Comfort Inn. There seemed to be a family reunion there with many, many children running up and down the corridors upon our arrival. When we closed our room door we could not hear sounds from outside at all. Although we did not partake of the breakfast available, I went to see what was being served. It appeared clean, well organized and I really would like to have had a waffle. I traveled to the Hastings area on business and chose this hotel primarily for its location to my job. The hotel was clean, amenities were pretty much what you would expect and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only minus would be location if you're looking for a decent meal once in a while. Hastings in general doesn't have much more than your standard fast food, but the location of this hotel is only really convenient to a sports bar across the street, otherwise you've got to drive some distance. Overall I'd say this hotel is a great choice and good value for business travelers and families alike.

We were pleasantly surprised with the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff. Reviews we read before going said they were lacking.. There was a room mix up with our reservation which was quickly remedied at no charge to us. Staff was very welcoming and accomidating. Breakfast selections were great! Will stay here again!

Have stayed here a few times. Always quiet, nothing fancy, clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast is actually food, eggs, waffles, beacon...

Front desk clerks were kind of unfriendly but fine. When I checked in the young lady asked me if I was going to keep the charges on the credit card I booked with, so I put away my credit card and wallet as I said yes. A few minutes later, she "needed to see my card". She clearly saw me holding my credit card and I think she purposely waited until I put everything away just so she could make me go through the hassle. I told her I wasn't impressed with her customer service. Also, the morning attendant was rude about announcing that breakfast was "over at 9:30am". As if I should have gotten up from my seat and returned to my room. So much for small town hospitality.

Hotel staff wasn't very friendly. Seemed like they didn't care whether we were there or not. Had an outside door so we could park outside our room and have easy excess to it.

It was relaxing and enjoyable. We emjoyed the pool area where we sat and visited with family. The facilities were clean and staff was friendly. Great homemade waffles for breakfast.

Our room was great! Maybe a little more light is needed in the vanity area (my only negative thought while staying there). But we were very happy with the breakfast bar the next morning!! The selection was awesome and I could even have a couple of hard boiled eggs!!! I would have to give the breakfast (included in our room price) 5 stars.
