Holiday Inn Express

Went to see Sand Hill cranes and spent the night. We were a little leary as when we stayed at this place a year ago an employee walked into our room without knocking while we were dressing. We reported this and did not get much response. This year it was a good stay.

Very family Friendly

This Holiday Inn Express was like a 5 star hotel experience. The only improvement I can see is that the beds were slightly hard. The staff was down to earth, friendly and truly concerned with helping my stay a great experience. They provided and incredible hot breakfast plus the usual cold breakfast. There was even iced tea and iced water for your convenience. There were afternoon cookies for the guests. There was a manager snack time with cheese, crackers, pretzels, small cocktail weiners in barbaque sauce. The rooms were so clean you felt as though you were at home. The best part was sleeping without hearing a door slamming every time someone entered the room. We experienced a very rude man that was asking for a room and the hotel staff handled it very well, even though he was insulting her. The problem turned out to be with his cell phone and did not even relate to anything the hotel had done. I was very impressed with her ability to take care of the situation. This hotel is just off the highway and very close to a great barbaque. Skeeters was a walk across the parking lot. The price was very reasonable. I will stay at Holiday Inn Express and recommend it to everyone.
