Cornhusker Marriott in Lincoln, Nebraska
Friendly staff, nice location and good breakfast. There is a parking garage attached to hotel, and restaurants, movie theater and shopping are all within walking distance.

Good place to stay in downtown Lincoln
Very conveniently located, the staff was excellent. Food in the Terrace was pretty good, too. The hotel is getting a little tired, though. The door security latch (the metal piece that swings to latch the door) was broken, which I mentioned to the desk, and some of the electrical plugs did not work.

The Cornhusker
My family and I were in town for a high school graduation. Between the parties and graduation we were not in our room a lot. When we checked in the front desk gave us a good view of the capitol since we had a young child. Thought that was nice. The hotel was in walking distance of the church we used and the location of the graduation. We did have to pay for parking but I believe most downtown hotels are the same way. They do have a valet but was more expensive than the parking garage that is connected to the hotel. The only true negative experience I had were the feather pillows. But that is my preference. My husband was fine with them. Overall we had a nice stay and would stay there again.

Great central location

Great Marriott in Lincoln NE!
Wonderful room in great shape. Friendly staff. Only drawback was the parking in the covered garage attached to the hotel for $9 per night, but it was probably a good price.

rude checkin person, cheaper room
I wasn't able to get a hotel room booked anywhere in Lincoln NE, because the 2010 Special Olympics had everywhere booked up. I booked a King or double Queen room, when I checked in the staff person handed me 2 room cards for room 309 (a single Queen room); he didn't mention the change or ask if it was okay. He didn't greet or any courtesy discussion; I asked where we should park, & he waved & said there's a public parking garage that way. We'd gotten in really late that night (after driving 8+ hours) & when we got to our room & discovered the room change I really didn't feel like arguing with them. I had never stayed at this hotel before, had no idea how to get from the parking garage to my room, so wandered around before could find an elevator that actually went to the rooms.
