Not a good value

An older hotel in need of maintenance and a face-lift. Small clean rooms were 'okay'. Breakfast was meager and served in what appears to be an old hallway or janitor's closet. Very limited seating. Pool and hot tub were the best part of the stay. Both were clean, set at a good temperature and well maintained.

Good value

The North Platte NE Days Inn was a very good value. The room was quite reasonable. However; there were no in hotel restaurants. The room was clean however; the blankets had holes. The hotel room door was very difficult to shut and lock. The hotel had a pool however; it was not heated. We were unsure if the heater was broken but; the water temperature was so cold is made it impossible to swim. The hot tub was out of order. The front desk clerk was inexperienced.

Could be better

I have used Day Inn quite frequently, this one was the first at this location. The coat hanger had been pulled out of the wall and no attention had been given to it. The towels have been used for a million years, what should have been white was actually off grey. The check in was personable, but the balance of the stay was regretable. The continental breakfast was extemely ememic.
