Comfort Inn at the Zoo

If you're planning a trip to the Omaha Zoo you can't get a room any closer then this. Everything was very nice. Friendly staff, an amazing breakfast, and proximity to the zoo made this a great stay for us. The pool, while not very deep and a tad cold, was a nice feature. The fitness room was, on the other hand, was a joke. A treadmill that didn't work, an exercise bike, and a weightlifting set-up that I was asked to stop using after no more then 3 mins. due to the fact that it made noise at the front desk located directly below the fitness room.

While we were Omaha visited with family and friends. Everything was fine at the hotel. And it was close to every where that I had to go to.

We stayed here because it was close to sokol underground where we were going to for a concert... didn't really do much at the hotel other than get ready for the concert and sleep but it was still really nice! And the beds were actually comfy :)

We wanted something easy to find when coming into town, and close to the ball park. This fit the bill perfectly. A nice experience.

excellent location for zoo and downtown. pool was oddly cloudy all the time... little on the gross side, and rather small.

We love the location!! We visit everytime the band Blue October plays locally. The hotel staff is great!

The housekeeping staff was great. One front desk person was okay and one was wonderful.

We arrived late around 11pm and there was no one to greet us at the front desk. After 10 minutes or so and the arrival of another customer, we discovered that the staff member was sitting in the lounge area flipping t.v. channels. The phone rang several times while he was watching t.v. and he never checked the desk once. The newly arrived customer must have been noisier than my children and I because the worker finally noticed we were there and we realized he was the front desk guy. The other customer was upset because she had been trying to call the hotel for a couple of hours and no one ever picked up. She was kind of rude and, understandably, he was kind of defensive. Unfortunately, he didn't have the customer service skills to assuage the other customer and he wasn't terribly helpful when he finally checked me in. Other than that, we slept fine and enjoyed our breakfast. We checked out early and it was easy because I did everything on line before our trip. The morning staff seemed much easier to deal with.

I chose this hotel because it was so close to the zoo. The location was great and the staff was helpful, but the pool was a bit crowded. The hotel was very family-oriented, though, which I really appreciated.
