Great hotel with fantastic customer service
We were a little hesitant to book with this hotel just because we have never stayed at a Fairfield Inn before. I must say, the fears were completely unfounded. The hotel has a modern look and feel on the inside, and everything was clean and well laid out. Upon checking in, the employee behind the counter asked us if we had ever stayed at a Fairfield before and then provided me with all the info I needed for my stay. Once in our room, we received a courtesy call to make sure the room was to our liking. Very nice. The king sized bed was passable, and the room was adequately sized. Love the modern, LCD television. No hotel in 2011 should have those archaic tube TVs anymore. The room was good overall, but the bed could have been a little better. The free continental breakfast was also a welcome addition. Good options, seemed fresh. The price was comparable to other, worse-quality hotels in the area. The area of town that the hotel is located in could use some work. Omaha recently built the Qwest Center and TD Ameritrade Park nearby, so the neighborhood will get better, but for now there are loads of abandoned and condemned buildings. Doesn't emit the most friendly vibe. Ultimately though, it was the service that won me over. They were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. The price was reasonable for the accommodations, but when you consider the atmosphere inside the hotel the price seems like a steal. Will stay again!

Beware
This hotel is flooded. The entire bottom floor reeks of stale, musty water & they constantly have floor fans going at all hours of the day. For a brand new hotel, someone really wasn't paying attention when they selected the location.

Strange Stay

New Hotel, Mini suite is great!
The first room they put us in was a little musty smelling so they gave us an upgraded room (mini suite) upstairs and it was great! I would book that room instead of the standard room during every stay! The best part was the desk staff, in particular, Chris (don't know his last name) he was great! Couldn't have asked for nicer people.
