The hotel charged me another 20% on the cost of my stay stating that it was recovery of the charges from the reservation company. I enquired with the hotel and they have told me they recovered the commission that the reservation company collects from the hotel. Either way - an unscrupulous practice. Who has ever heard of a business asking someone else to pay the commission to another business so openly. It was still good value for money in comparison to other motels/hotels in the area.
