We stayed there while attending an event at the Mount Washington Auto Road. The Royalty Inn is clean, neat and comfortable.

Great Fall Get Away

My husband and I took a short Fall get away and I thought this location was perfect. Close enough to most attractions yet far away enough to have some peace and quiet, yet not in the boondocks either. Plenty of resturants (Mikes Pizzaa, The Wagonwheel) and the best thing was the views along the way to attractions. Just a wonderful place to stay.

Room was clean. Cleaning woman, very nice and helpful. My daughter had an overnight accident and she was very kind and understanding with helping me clean up to my satisfaction. Close to campground and various restaurants, shops and attractions. Will be back next year!

Great spot to relax away from crowded spots

we wanted to find a spot a bit away from the tourists in north conway and still enjoy being close enough to go shopping. It was a good choice. The inn staff was very freindly, the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. we stayed in the adult section so it was quiet and off the street.very comfortable and price was right. we will return, next time with our suits. I though it would be too cold in the fall, I was wrong

Neat in More Ways than One

Nicely located for Mt. Washington-White Mountains exploring. Hotel is VERY well-maintained. We've never seen so much daily tidying at similar non-chain lodgings (thoroughly sweeping room exterior walkways/lounging areas, gardening, etc.)! Rooms are completely cleaned each day. Requests for towels, blow-dryer were honored immediately. Walls appeared freshly painted, light fixtures in room & bathroom were modern. Small fridge & microwave were unexpected bonus. Owners seem to be very accommodating: pets are allowed with reasonable restrictions; no smoking in rooms, but sturdy iron & wooden benches outside each room provide a retreat for smokers who are respectful of fellow guests. Excellent window treatments for anyone who needs to sleep later in morning. The only drawback was not enough space to put away clothes for 4 people in one room (small 3-drawer bureau and 3 double-coat hooks, no hanging clothes area), but, as hikers, temporary out-of-suitcase living was fine, given all the pluses of The Top Notch Inn. Finally, the $5 off coupon for the auto-road at check-in was appreciated. Overall, you definitely get your money's worth at this friendly inn!
