good location clean rooms no much space in the room

3 Friends up for bike week. Booked a 2 room suite with a murphy bed which was very comfortable. Full kitchen 2 full bathrooms. AC which can be nice if it gets hot. Was clean and staff was friendly.

I had stayed at this hotel a couple of times over the past 5 years. This time, it was starting to look a bit worn around the edges. The location is great, right off the Interstate, at the edge of the White Mountains, literally within walking distance of Loon Mountain Ski Resort, and within a couple of miles of a huge array of hiking trails. The complementary breakfast is good, but can get crowded during the height of the ski season.

I needed a getaway after dealing with the aftermath of flooding in our newly purchased home. My husband and I took the day off to go hiking with our new dog. Finding a pet friendly hotel is no easy feat. This hotel charges a minimal nightly fee for pets, way less than a kennel. The room was clean and inviting, with free dog biscuits for our pooch. The hot tub awaited, and we were all alone, as this is probably considered off season. The one thing I didn't care for was the toilet. When flushing, the water would spray up. Other than that, I came back completely relaxed.

great price and location room was bigger than average and up to date I travel alot and the hotel is better than average. They let us leave the motorcycles under cover that was nice

Condo was clean and attractive. Staff was pleasant. I did not expect to pay an additional fee of 32$ for use of resort health club. i thought this was included..not clear on reservation site. No recylable area..was told to go to main street center. Town was extremely busy and road traffic was like NYC with cars, motorcyles and police vehicles. The condo ammenities were very good except for a plug in air freshener which masked a slight musty odor in the place. For the $ the condo was good value.

Overall Good Resort. Location could have been more scenic but nothing much to complain about. Quite near to Franconia Notch Park. Rooms are large, good and clean.

the price was decent for the hotel we paid for. it's not far of a drive from flume gorge and the other attractions.

The hotel was perfect location because it was right next to the water park we drove up there for. the bed/pillow was uncomfortable but it was good enough for the one night we stayed there. the workout room was just fine to workout for the morning on the treadmill and the pool/jacuzzi was nice. Good location not bad for an economy hotel. Staff great, location great.

Here we go:The Good - The room was great!!! My family and I were extremely impressed with the accommodations. The room was really clean, spacious, adequately stocked and the kitchen was awesome. We were near everything and the mountain was literally right across the street. This is the place if you are up for a winter getaway. Ski Rental shop right on the premises with great rates. The mountain views were really breath taking. Visit to the Mount Washington Summit was worth the extra 1hr car ride. A true marvel of natural beauty.The Not So Good - Some of the staff at the front desk were not helpful. Housekeeping does not communicate with the front desk. We spent an extra hour waiting for our room b/c housekeeping did not communicate with the front desk about our room being ready. Then the front desk guy leaves for the night?! What was that? Anyway, when we finally went up and the room was great. The second issue is the Towel/Video rental guy. He was the biggest [*], with a major attitude. I tried to rent a movie for my daughter and when I was asking to pay by cash or charge he acted like he couldn't be bothered. It was as if answering questions about his policies was not worth his time and that we were below him and his high stress employment,(got to get those towels fluffed and folded). Bring your own movies folks, all of the rooms have their own DVD players. Save the $4 they charge per movie and bring your own from home. Overall, the hotel accommodations were truly very excellent. However, be prepared to do a lot of the leg work yourself. Don't rely on the staff for anything. I would stay here again just because the room was nice. However, some change to the personnel would be my recommendation. If the Loon Mountain Hotel Management people ever want to discuss this review I would be more than happy to set up a phone conference with them about my experience. Happy New Year Folks!

Very relaxing vacation. We spent a day just relaxing by the pool. Water and facilities were clean. Nice staff.

Upon arrival I had very low expectations, my kids and I were simply looking for a place to crash for our ski trip. Though the age and the motor lodge appearance of the front buildings seemed uninviting we found the rooms in the building with the pool to be just perfect for what we wanted. We had been at other more expensive places but the pool wasn't as good. The staff was beyond accommodating and being able to get discounted lift tickets was found money. I would search out Woodward's first when seeking next year's accommodations. One comment would be to expand the Apres Ski Menu as we would have done that more than once had there been a larger variety. see you next year!

The room is coz, but no micowave oven. our room locate in the indoor pool building, very good. the hotel restaurant very five stars. but the hotel is a bit too old.

Clean room, quiet area. Bed wad tolerable but harder than I'm used to. Slept good after a long drive. Nice breakfast but there is a restaurant across the road. Would stay again

girl at the counter was great and helpfull a definate A+, but the beds were as poor as you can get, we had to leave after the first night and find another hotel. the pool said heated pool and i see they own a heater but they dont actually use it. when I explained why we were checking out early I was told another guest just left the same day as we did and that was 3 days early for them as well.

This location is perfect! Clarks Trading Post is right next door. There is so much to do in this area too, from hiking to dining to shopping and more! What could of made our 3 days perfect would of been better weather the one day we stayed local. Small motel, just 12 rooms and then 3 cottages I think. A pool and a small swingset for the kids. I would come back for sure. The room was clean, the owner was friendly and hospitable. The had a lot of lovely flowers on the property too. This will be a good place to stay in the winter also.

Comfortable sleeping, lovely stream directly behind the room. Quaint cabin very reasonably priced.

The motel was good compared to its price. Bed was clean and there was a brook behind te motel.

Very freindly staff, nice clean room, my son loved the swiming pool. The room was a little on the small side, but we went to ski.

It was really a good place to, surprisingly well kept. even though getting there was an experience of its own (due to recent Irene damage, we had to take a round about way to get to the place)... but all is well that ends well.... the location was nice and serene, if you are going for fall colors then this is definitely a good place to stay as its close to the city center and other activities...

The room was nice, it had 2 beds that pulled down from the wall a full kitchen and small bathroom with a deck. It was convenient bring on Loon mountain with lots of fun stuff to do for the kids. It was a bit pricey for the small room but it was a really nice place with lots to do.
