When paying 60 bucks a night for a motel in central New Hampshire you tend to limit your expectations some, but I was honestly relived to see that the room was clean and did not smell. Not that I am ever in Tilton, NH but if I were I'd consider staying here again, although the Holiday Inn Express right next door did look nice(r).

Nice place, very clean and friendly. Easy access to just about everything in the area, and there is a fireworks store not a quarter of the mile down the street.

Great shopping weekend

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We ate at the restaurant that the staff recommended and if was a excellent. The hotel itself was very clean and everything looked updated. We were very comfortable in our room. I would stay here again.

I guess we shouldn't be too picky since we were able to get about 16 miles from new hampshire motor speedway on race weekend, but we didn't feel we got what we paid for. We reserved a nonsmoking room, but were given a stinky smoking room. It was nice to sit on the balcony in the evening and over look the beautiful lake.

Check in and check out were easy. The cabin was clean, but these facilities appear to have been built in the 1950s, so don't expect elegance. Lots of towels, hand soap and dish soap, but no shampoo so bring your own. Cabins are close to one another, so if your neighbors are quiet, you will sleep well. Great for fishing, swimming, sunning, canoeing, kayaking, frisbee.

It was a nice cozy little cabin. A bit musty smelling like it had some previuos water damage. But not bad.
