The best thing about this hotel is a free shuttle from and to the airport. Room needs to be repaired and the bathroom is kind of too small.

We had a very difficult time finding the hotel, to begin with. We drove by it three times and ended up having to ask for directions in downcity Newark. We had the same trouble upon returning to the hotel later on, as well. The room was very clean, but extremely tiny-- I could not pull the desk chair out enough to sit in it and we were short of towels, though the cleaning staff was very quick to rectify that. The shower stall was terrible. It was spacious, but there was barely any water pressure or hot water. It seemed to be competing with the sink, so that I had a difficult time showering while my husband was shaving. The staff was very pleasant, though, and the cleaning staff was responsive, so no complaints about them.

Room was cold....had to leave the stove on for heat....they could upgrade the tv....and cable....there were no real cable channels...only showtime...no hbo, comedy central etc....

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Price includes breakfast and dinner so made it very economical. Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable. Only negative was that the times listed for breakfast in the room were not the same as actual times. Looks like typo on some marketing material. Be sure to check actual times.

We stay here all the time for the convenience to the Airport, The Jersey Gardens Outlet, an IHOP and easy access to the NJ Turnpike. A value in this economy with a full breakfast (not continental), even though it may be limited, many places just don't offer it. The staff is great. It is a bit worn but expected due to the high volume of guests staying.

I've been going to the Country Inn for years. Its directly accross the street from the Mall, Lowes theater, Ruby Tuesdays, IHOP, (in the mall you will also find Johnny Rockets, Burger King, Chilli's, Sbarro, and the list goes on.
Down the street you will see IKEA, Big Lots and Toys R Us and Babies R Us.
THe pool was nice, they served hot breakfast which was cool, and we had a ball.
My only suggestion is that since is it across from the mall, that they install an arcade or something for children. The kids were bored out of their mind...you can only swim for so long.

room keys both failed. room cleanliness OK but not fantastic. very much an airline commuter and personnel stop over hotel. nothing fancy, but not bad.

I stayed here in order to catch an early morning flight from Newark. I was able to turn my car in at the airport and catch the shuttle back to the hotel, get a decent room service meal, and get to the airport the next morning with no problems. My room was quiet and clean, so I was quite happy.

It was nothing that i had exspected. The room wasn't clean/the bathroom was dirty and there was no room clean up only on request. I complained to the owner and he told me that you have to request to have your room freshened up. it was really lousey and had i had another option i would have not stayed there. It was absolutly horrible. I wouldn't recommend it to a dog and when i closed the bathroom door it had graffiti all over the door.
