fatastic place to stay
when we wolked in and looked around, wow it is very nice and clean at lobby. it is good location not to far from downtown Newyork only 15 minuts away.but the hotel price is way cheep tha..n you stay in Newyork NY. there are lots of trasportation choice avaliable. by the way the breakfast is very good too. only thing we think they do need to improve is that the bath tub is not clean at all.

BIG MISTAKE
Not only was I charged more when I arrived but the staff was not only rude to me they were rude with each other. Calling each other negative names in my presence was offensive. I was harrassed in the hallways and even in the lobby by a drunk with no assistance from the staff. I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!

Now I know why it was such a deal
Industrial location with no walk-to amenities. I requested a non-smoking room. While the room was labled non-smoking, it had clearly been a smoking room before. Divided road made getting out and back tricky.

Run of the mill hotel
Value hotel, everything OK except the Internet connection that was intermittment and/or very slow. Unable to work with it except in the lobby.

New Years Eve Disaster

Overall good, except TV reception.
I like this hotel because it was very quiet most of the times. I stayed 3 nights and first day, housekeeper "man" knocked on my door for no reason. ( I asked him what he wanted, he just say nothing.") "it was around 4pm and I was taking a nap so I didn't make anything out of it. But someone had knocked on my door around 7:30am again waking me up. (I had put the "Shhhhhh" sign on my door.) At this time I didn't bother to open the door just went back to bed. Now, bad thing was that my TV reception was so bad that I could hardly see what I was watching. I called front desk and they told me they will change room the following morning which I will be checking out from them. So I told them never mind. Besides these two small issue overall staying at this hotel was great. **almost forgot..., no sausage or bacon for breakfast. (not a vegetarian) :(

it was good, but sometimes the room wasn´t completely clean. Nevertheless I appreciate the fact that I always received help concerning transport and directions at the reception.

Great Experience!
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were great! The room was nice. The whole facility was clean and remodeled. Wifi did not work in our room. The shuttle from New Jersey into New York and back was cheap and easy. The biggest challenge was that it cost over $100 to get from LaGuardia to hotel by taxi. And the same on the return trip. And any taxi trip from New York across the river to NJ cost about $50.

Short walk from hotel
Nile Restaurant next door is an Egyptian Restaurant with delicious food. It's more like a club, so it gets rolling around 10 p.m. Arabic music on Friday & Saturday nights. Great food. Good drinks, wonderful service, but be ready for the bill.
