NOT RECOMMENDABLE

The room didn't have a phone and the sliding glass door to the pool just didn't close anymore. Rooms were not kept clean, carpets were nasty and our beddings were never changed in the 5 days that we stayed there. Fitness center was nasty.

Vagabond for a vagabon

Beds were made but we did not get washcloths on our second day. We let a message at the desk & they assured us they would take care of it but when we returned it was not. Also, our mugs were never washed or changed, and after day one we did not receive any additional coffee packets. The hot tub did not work.

Clean but Tired Property

The Vagabond Inn was clean but tired and run-down. There were holes in the carpet in our room and the ceiling had been patched but not painted. We opted not to stay there, checking out after 3 hours and finding other quarters.

Vagabond Indeed

The facility is a bit run down. Lots of things need repairing and cleaning. The location is fine if you are flying in for the local college game but I didn't feel like I could walk around at night. And don't plan on getting any sleep if you are there for a game, it was very noisy.

Great value for the money

My husband and I spent 7 nights in the ABQ area and enjoyed our stay at the Vagabond Inn. We were assigned a room with a very poor view the first night ( the hotel was full) but we were able to switch to a poolview room the next morning. The hotel receptionist was very pleasant and accomodating. Breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs, sausages and hash browns were offered every morning. Fruit and cereal options were also available. Pool area was clean and inviting, although a little noisy at times. Grounds were well kept. We were most certainly pleased with our accomodation and would stay there again. This is not a fancy resort but it is a very good motel and ofers budget conscious travellers good value for the money.

Kelly's Restaurant in Nob Hill. Great menu and atmosphere in an old 1950's style car dealership turned restaurant. Pet friendly patio too.
