really needs work
The 1st floor hallway smelled like mildew, HORRIBLE! Our room was the same. We went out and bought our own Febreeze to help w/ the odor. They later put a Plug-In and "ionizer" in the hall which helped. The mattresses need replacing. In one bed, the mattress literally "sank" in the center !! We considered changing hotels but I was having surgery and it was too bothersome.

Great location, near the ABQ airport.
The Hotel location is great and about a ten minute drive to downtown ABQ. The Hotel itself was clean but you could tell that it is a older hotel. Free breakfest every morining was great, and good coffee. Also, the Hotel is located in what seems to be a safe area. Overall, the Hotel is a good value for the money.

Just in town for the night
I used to live in Albuquerque a few years ago, but had never considered staying in the SW quadrant, near the airport. It was a very good decision though, I was central to all the interstates, which was perfect since I had a tight travel schedule. Also, the hotel itself was very nice, clean, comfortable, & the staff was great. For the price I paid, I was expecting less but this definitely exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient
very friendly staff- great service- only problem- no elevators to second floor- but they helped with the luggage. Last hotel I stayed in wouldn't take me to the car rental agency outside the airport- here- there was no question about picking me up from the same place. Sorry I had to leave so early (5AM) so I couldn't try out their breakfast- but they were there to take me to the airport-
