Great, This has become our new favorite place to stay in Albuquerque
We stay in Albuquerque quite a lot, so we have stayed at a lot of different places. This place had by far the best hot breakfast (we stayed on the weekend). The attention to details like a fitted bottom sheet instead of another flat sheet tucked in, really made the difference. A place to do my nightly walk on the treadmill, was also greatly appreciated. The only thing I do usually look for that they don't offer is an indoor pool, which would have make it perfect. All of this at a reasonable price and what more could be asked for.

Balloon Fiesta Traveler
Hotel was very nice in our opinion. We were traveling through the southwest and the Balloon Fiesta was one of our stops. Hotel was very convenient to the activities. Of course, since the Fiesta was going on, rates were up but can't really complain. The free breakfast was excellent. We had a suite and it was clean. Only real complaint was we were on second floor and there was not an elavator convenient to our room and we had a lot of luggage.

clarion hotel albuquerque
This hotel was comfortable and clean. The decor in the room was pretty outdated, but the bathroom was clean and well-equipped. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of foods; unfortunately some of the hot foods were not great, but there were other things to choose from...good coffee. The staff were friendly and helpfull. I think it was fairly priced. The location was good in terms of closeness to airport and shopping areas.

Fiesta Traveler
Great
We went to the balloon fiesta, Old Town and Sandia Peak Ski and Tramway. The Clarion was very well located between these activities. We did not have a car and walked to the fiesta. I would liked to have a shuttle available from the Hotel to different locations like the airport, that was one of the drawbacks. Staying here was nice and was a great view of the balloons from the room.

Walls were a little thin and could hear people slamming doors. But we were there when there were alot of events happening in town.

Experience was not so good
Our first nights experience was Terrible. We stayed on the second floor and it seemed like there was a 500lb gorilla above us. We could here them walking back and forth all night till 12am. I called the front desk and they said they had no other rooms we could switch to (unlikely since there were not that many cars parked outside). Second night, they did move us to the third floor and it was much better. Will not stay here again unless I get a third floor room.
