Okay...
The hotel was clean enough, but you could tell it's a bit old. Our room door was hard to close and open--we had to yank it or shove our weight against it. The door handle also seemed to be falling apart. Other than that, it's located just conveniently off the I-40, and only a couple miles from some big attractions (Old Town, Univ. of New Mexico, etc.).

Good for the price.
This was a good, inexpensive place to stay for a couple days with our church youth group. We did have a mix up with our non-smoking preference, however that was quickly taken care of. The only problem was our rooms had to be separated from each other because of this. Continental breakfast was really hard to get around in, the area should be rearranged to handle more people. This wasn't the best area of Albuquerque, however I would probably stay here again with teens because of the price, the pool, and it was clean enough.

old and marginal
It was very old and across the street from newer motels. the best part was that it was cheap, worth no more than the price.

double night stay during Balloon Fiesta
Great location for the Balloon Fiesta....all other hotels were very high priced during fiesta time and this one fit the bill.....went around the back way, from the south west to festival field...took about 15 min driving at 5am...we went to dawn patrol. Comfortable bed, room was spotless and quiet.
