The Econo Lodge West is conveniently located off Interstate 40 with easy access to popular area attractions, including Old Town Albuquerque, the Albuquerque Aquarium, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The Albuquerque International Sunport airport is only 10 miles away. The Albuquerque Convention Center, the University of New Mexico, Kirtland Air Force Base and the Rio Grande Zoo are all within 10 miles of this Albuquerque hotel. Movie theaters, museums, an indoor water slide and several shopping centers in the area. Nearby restaurants and cocktail lounges include Dennys, Furrs, McDonalds and Village Inn. Conveniently located off the I-40. Restaurants, shopping center, movie theater nearby. Pet Accommodation: 15.00 per pet per stay. Pool will be out of order until July 18, 2012.

Wonderful

I booked this room for my son. He loved it! Very attractive, clean, comfortable room and friendly staff! the price was so low and the service was wonderful!

you get what you pay for

Acceptable for the 5 hours we spent there. Beds hard. Pillows had to be the smallest, lumpiest, oldest pillows I've ever seen. And just two little guys per bed. Thin sheets and blankets, but appeared clean. Ceiling had evidence of multiple water leaks and was peeling. Bath small, but also clean.breakfast just cereal and bread. Good location, convenient to I40.

Great choice

Mariscos Altamar is across the street from the hotel--great place for Mexican food, especially sea food.

GOING EAST AGAIN

Overall a very nice hotel. Rooms on the first floor are noisy due to the amount of traffic on the street nearby (ask for rooms away from the front) and high traffic.
