There are plenty of shops and a mall just down the road from the hotel going east.

nasty bed sheets..full of hair
We had fun there until we turned down one of the beds..it was full of hair..the pillow and below. I called the desk..she said i could come and get some sheets...then she said..i only have a full flat sheet...Whatever...we had 2 queens..so I said ..not staying in that room..she tried to put us in the far back rooms...no ty..we did get to move to a room just above ours. I think she should have said..ok we will do anything to make you happy..how about a nice suite. I will never again stay at fairfield. I love the location. I have one in Ca. that I like and its always been clean. The girl. [...].she was no help. Maybe she was new in the business. Otherwise the location and the pool and the breakfast was nioce..very nice. Ty Kat

Someplace to lay one's head
We needed a place for one night after the end of a long day of flying. The Fairfield surprised us. We expected an economy room at economy price. Instead, we received a room as good as any high-end Marriott for an economy price. Then, before we left, we had a very good, hot breakfast included in the fee.

Quiet room and comfy bed
I was in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and this hotel was perfect for me. It was just 3 miles down the road from a park and ride. It was also easy on and off I-40. Rooms were very large, the bed was comfy, and the shower clean and spacious.

Coronado Mall and Uptown Shopping is only about 3 miles down the road. There are many high end shops along with a mall. There are lots of restaurants.

Relaxed and Ready to Go
Very nice and comfortable
After having issues at the airport during my trip, it was nice to have a comfortable quiet room to relax in and this hotel was perfect for that.

Little Annies serves New Mexican Quisine which is a treat when visiting Albuquerque. Get there early though because they close at 9 PM even on the weekends.

Good value
Hotel was easily accessable, not too far from the freeway, and the chocolate chip cookies looked great at check-in. Don't wait long though as they were gone by evening.

Well maintained hotel
I have stayed at other hotels in Albuquerque but stay at the Fairfield on Menaul if they have a vacancy. It is handy for my needs, it is clean and I like the personnel. The price is good for the value you get at this hotel.
