Exquisite and nurturing!
The architecture, artwork, and Spanish design of this hotel is awe-inspiring for anyone who loves beauty; we could have been in Europe. Our room was immaculate and gorgeous as well, with special touches. We had a dinner upon arrival that was both delicious and healthy (sometimes hard to find) in the smaller restaurant. Swimming in the pool and soaking in the hot tub under the stars, after a long drive, was a perfect, romantic ending to a great day. I could not believe the quality of this place for the very reasonable price, and will definitely return on trips to the southwest!

Don't stay at this Hotel!
When we arrived they claimed they had no reservations for us, even though I had all the confirming information with me. They told us to call [...]and tell [...]to call them. We insisted that it was their job to call. They relented and came back 20 minutes later and said "now we have them but there are 3 people ahead of you so you'll have to wait". The hotel was absent of any bodies except for staff.2nd episode: that evening, upon returning to our hotel room, the air conditioner stopped working. The maintenance man (a very nice man) said it would take him an hour to fix so they moved us to a different room. It was a downgraded room, the bathroom was 2 feet from the bed, the air temp could not be set any lower than 72 degrees and the air conditioner sounded like a diesel engine. The front desk did not call to apologize or offer any type of compensaition for our inconvenience. We moved out the next day and went to Santa Fe and stayed at the Hyatt Place.

Very nice hotel
I made reservations for myself and my son and his wife. When my son tried to check in, the hotel had no record of his reservation even though I had paid in advance and had a print-out sheet for him. When he tried to call me the next morning, the desk told him that I had checked out even though I had not.

Relaxing, Charming, Beautiful grounds .
My husband and I went there to celebrate a birthday and at the same time attend to some business in town. There is such a sweet quality to the hotel in that it is charming and has an old worldy feel - very romantic and relaxing. The pool location, in it's own walled garden area is very lovely. The staff is very friendly especially in the hotel dining room. We will come back many times.

Great Location
The Hotel Albuquerque was a great choice for us considering the things we had on our "to do" list. It was within walking distance to Old Town and minutes away from the Aquarium and the Botanical Gardens. It was also a short trip down Central ( old US 66) to the train station for a ride to Sante Fe. The Hotel was clean and guiet at night even with four wedding party's on Saturday night.

No room at the Inn
We had booked well in advance for late arrival. We flew that day from London via Phoenix and arrived at 10.15 at night (5.15 the following morning for our body clocks). We were informed without apology that they had no rooms as they had let them to conference delegates to stay on after their conference. I asked to see the duty manager. He told a different story - they had given our room to "travellers in distress". The next day the duty manager confirmed the first story, also saying that their behaviour was normal and that they were able to charge higher rates in such circumstances. They had found a cheaper hotel across the road for us - where we had a sleepless night in a room right under a busy interstate intersection. However it had no restaurant or bar open, and we had not eaten or had a drink for 8 hours. In over 40 years of international travel I have never been treated with so little respect or regard for my position as a customer.

Decent hotel but rooms a little dated
Stayed one night for a business event nearby. Location in old town ABQ is great. Lobby and amenities including the Q Bar were very nice. Rooms were small and slightly dated.

Modern Hotel with a misleading facade
Took walking tour of Old Town and visited Pueblo Museum of New Mexico. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful but is misleading in that the rooms are modern with not as much charm as the entrance and lobby. We stayed in a room that had a very loud air conditioner, which kept us up all night.
