Moon On Water
Absolutely magnificent
Many chains are operated by individual franchisors, and vary in quality. On this trip, and over the past years when I traveled, La Quinta has never let me down. The motels are always clean, beautifully appointed, friendly... in short I hate to leave the room the next day. Particularly, I would like to comment on the bed...one of the most comfortable ever. I actually overslept! Interestingly enough, the hotel was a matter of feet from I-40 and I never heard the traffic! I absolutely highly recommend La Quinta for people with the most scrupulous taste.

STINKY
We took a 10 day trip out west this hotel was by far the worst. We had a nonsmoking room and as soon as we opened the door to the room we could smell stale smoke. Could'nt get rid of it it was imbedded in the carpet and the curtains and who knows what else. We also found Albuquerque to be very unhospitable. We are caucasion and we were made to feel like second class citizens there. All the other cities ,out west ,we stayed that was not the case. The front desk suggested a restaraunt near the hotel that was terrible in service and food . When we travel out west again we will avoid LaQunita and Albuquerque!!!! The hotel was located near I40 and sounded like indy 500 going all night long.

Good Value and accepts pets!
Nice, clean, looks fairly new. Breakfast just ok. Accepts pets wihtout a fee, you pay for any damage. Traveling with a well behaved pet, I appreciate that. Comfortable beds.

This was a business trip I took and the hotel was good and clean. What I didn't like was the parking lot was small so you had to park way out and walk back to your room and broken elevators don't help a lot. Overall it was good.

Would have been nice to have had a business center located in the hotel. None of the staff new of any local night life to recommend. When asked a question, they would look at each other and have no clue how to answer the question.

Convenient and quiet
We were in town for a short, activity-packed stay. We appreciated having a spotlessly clean and restful place to come to at the end of the day. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to utilize the amenities that the hotel provided.

Relaxing and Convenient location
Peaceful ambience. NOT a 5 star but clearly very good package for the money.I stay here frequently when visiting Albuquerque---QUIET rooms even though adjacent to the Interstate.

Convenient and quiet
This hotel is located in a very convenient area with easy access to I40 and Coors. It is surrounded by a few other hotels/motels but is easily the nicest property in the area. It is quiet and the staff are very nice, courteous, and attentive. The breakfast is a standard free hotel breakfast and the dining area can get a little cramped in the morning rush. The elevator is EXTREMELY slow and most of the time we were better off taking the stairs despite being on the 4th floor! You can hear some highway noise inside the room but that is a given with the hotels proximity to major thouroughfares and we didn't find it annoying. Otherwise a great place to stay for a quick trip to ABQ.
