they try hard
from the drinking water with lemons or fruit as you enter, to the friendly staff, to the quality of furnishings, to the overall cleanliness.......it all began on UP notes........ but even understanding the poor economy, not much going on in a town like ABQ, smaller scale of everything, Starbux and nearby TJ's were the only place to find something reasonably healthy to eat for breakfast (important to some), or even a BAGEL........a heating system which WOULD NOT get cooler than 70 degrees for sleeping no matter WHAT one does to the thermostat, large stains on the in-room carpet (absolutely unacceptable for a hotel rated 4-star), and NO SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AND FROM AIRPORT.......these three fatal flaws spoiled everything else.......definitely minor league......maybe OK for a Red Roof Inn or Motel 6 at a price, but this was supposed to be 4-star at about $90....... So, they tried hard.......and gave me the stay for FREE.....they just need to decide whether they will fix a few things and be a true 4-star, or compete at the bottom of the industry with the price-cutters...... goose down pillows can't overcome poor climate-control, stained rugs can't overcome even a willing and friendly staff, menus from the 80's should be updated

Short walk from hotel
get a door-to-door shuttle from airport, not a cab, about $28 roundtrip vs. $60, AND TJ's and Starbux for breakfast about 1/2 mile walk/run to wholesome food

The staff are helpful and very kind; the room was comfortable and for the most part clean; the location is fantastic, you are near just about everything that you would need and short trip to everywhere else. I didn't use room service this trip but in the past the food was very good.

great experience
Geat staff very accomodating. Beautiful room. Grounds are relaxing and well groomed. I love dogs it was very home like with all the great accomodations for animal. Several beautiful poodles which I have 2. Will bring them next time

Great Hotel with Central Location in ABQ
I was in town for a wedding shower. The Sheraton was fantastic and a great location in uptown Albuquerque. Minutes to old town and seconds to uptown shopping. It definitelly made my weekend that much better. Beds were super comfortable and the view was really beautiful from the hotel.

Head to Uptown for great shopping in ABQ--great restaurants within the shopping area. Beautifully done--outdoor area. Local craft/growers market on Saturday mornings too!
