It Worked; Nothing Special
I found this accommodation as part of a flight booking deal and chose it for its location in relation to a wedding reception I was in town for and the fact that every room comes with a kitchenette, which helped me save on food. I had a second floor walk-up (no elevator) with a door to the outdoors (which is fine, because it is New Mexico, but a little weird since your big picture window provides a view into your room for anyone walking by in the outdoor hallway). Room was fine--nothing special, but fairly clean. Bed not as nice as at home, but fine. Full size fridge. Two of everything in terms of utensils and you wash it all yourself in the sink. Iron and board was in the room. Unfortunately, no television guide or coffee filters, but if you want free coffee, you walk your mug down to the reception desk, which might be in a different building (don't spill!). Desk people knowledgeable about area, so don't hesitate to ask about anything. Overall, cannot complain!

The main reason I picked this place is because each room has a kitchenette, so you can save money by hitting a local grocery store instead of having to eat out for every meal.

Inexpensive home base
We spent a week in New Mexico and used this motel as a home base for the entire week. The rent was so inexpensive that we did not mind staying at other places if we were gone for a long time. The room is very basic but does have large fridge, a microwave and stove. There are only enough plates and utensils for two. Nothing fancy but well worth the price.

Stay away from the soda fountain/cafe in Jezebel in Madrid. Complete rip off. The hamburger meat was a frozen patty and everything was over priced.

Hidden Secret
Except for trying to find the hotel the first time, I was totally happy with this selection. It was a little difficult to find as it is set back off the main roads, but I kind of liked it once I found my way around. A great choice, loved the little kitchenette.

Perfect, except for the moths...
This hotel was great. With the complete kitchen and everything it was a bit more than we needed for a brief stay, but the price was unbeatable! My only complaint was the moths. Now, it seems like most of New Mexico is struggling with moths right now because of the mild winter, but it would have been nice if none of the moths had gotten into our room. They were already waiting, probably about 10 of them. My wife and I had to battle them before we could do anything else in our room! It just would have been nice if they had been more careful earlier not to let them in.

Glad I had my can of Lysol
This is the least clean of any room I've ever stayed in. We left it a lot cleaner when we left. There was a ring in the toilet! Who knows how long it had been there! I wiped the eating counter and my washcloth was quite dirty. Would not stay there again.

Absolutely would stay there again!
Was very quiet. Great location. Very close to I-40 and not too far from the I-25 interchange. Hotel takes pride in it's outward appearance! King size bed was very comfortable. I didn't wake up with a backache or toss and turn all night like at so many other hotels I've stayed at in the past. I sure liked the kitchenette feature. No Hair dryer or iron in the room. Onsite Laundromat. Also, close to restaurants. Overall stay: Two tumbs up!!

Great
I was needing a place where I could cook my own meals. The hotel was plenty adequate, within my price range, close to where I was staying. The kitchenette met my needs. It was quiet so I could study when I was in my room. So, overall, really satisfied. I have recommended it to a couple friends who also go to the area for multiple day study times.
