Enjoyed the stay.
After reading the reviews I was hesitant to book with this motel but decided to after a lot more research. It was not as bad as some of the reviews claimed it was. The carpet was dirty, but I never go barefoot in a motel, ect, (common sense). The staff was very helpful and supplied whatever I asked them for. The bed was comfortable and only had one night out of 6 with inconsiderate noisy neighbors. This was booked as a package deal, flight, car, motel so paid very little for my stay.

Thanks to other reviews I found the Dollar Tree accross the street along with the grocery store. If you drive West on Central you will find many places to dine. The drive along Tramway Blvd. is very beautiful in spots.

Worst Motel Every Stayed At
Was supposed to have non-smoking rooms. May have but both bed spreads had cigarett burn holes in them, and one spread had dirty spots. Didn't sleep in that bed. Carpet was dirty and worn, thread bear in places. Furniture was dirty and worn. Bathtub didn't have moulding around it. Commode lid was taped together with electrical tape. Didn't have hot water 4 different times, went to bed with no shower. No telephone in room. Clock-radio didn't have DC cord. Got DC cord from office-clock still didn't work. Couldn't get TV to work for 2 days. Maid finally got Tv to work, Coax cable had broken loose from back.Real disapponited in TV set-up,couldn't get major networks, CBS, NBC, ABC. Missed favorite Tues. night tv shows. Finally and worst of all, killed 4 Roaches, one was climbing up my arm late at night in bed,if it had been my wife ,she would have had a heart attack. On the plus side, Maid did help with TV,office clerk help dowload my boarding passes for air flight home on his computer.

Travelodge Albuquerque East
The hotel was clean but the room was getting old. The wallpaper was pealing in several locations. The bathroom had paint pealing and the plastic shower enclosure was cracked in several places. The staff was good and the breakfast bar was adequate but nothing spectacular.

Short walk from hotel
The Pancake House and McDonalds was in walking distance on the same side of the street. A mall containing a grocery store and a movie complex was across the street.

Good weekend, but not a good hotel
While our weekend was terrific, the hotel was lacking. It smelled musty (the carpet needs to be replaced). One of the towels had holes in it. One of the pillows was lumpy. A hole in the wall near the door, needed some serious repair. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and have serious doubts about every staying in another Travelodge/

Not the greatest
Hotel was located next to the freeway and was very noisy. Didn't appear to be located in the best part of town either. When we arrived at our room there was an old mattress sitting outside in front of our door. The pool didn't look real clean, and the hot tub was empty and not working.

so-so
We arrived late, and just after we had gotten settled in and climbed in bed, the phone rang. It was the front desk asking if everything was ok. When I mentioned there were no bath towels, I was told they were out, but that they "hoped" to have some available in the morning. When we stay in cheap hotels, I certainly don't expect 5-star service, but I never thought towels were too much to ask for. Towels were, indeed available in the morning, and there were plenty in our room the following day, so perhaps we just caught them on a bad day. Either way, the room was pretty clean and overall the stay was worth the price (about $40 a night). What was lacking in service was made up for in entertainment from the local Prairie Dog population.

Low price + on good side of standard.
Was visiting a friend in the greater Albuquerque region. The rooms were very inexpensive and when I needed to stay on another night they gave me a good price. It is a bit far from the airport and has no shuttle...but there are taxi's so that is okay. Has many restaurants within walking distance and the view of the mountains are beautiful. Their indoor pool looks great. All in all...a good value with the low price and standard hotel facilities. I would stay here again.

On the side of the hotel across from a pretty recently built park is a large family of Prarie Dogs. It was like watching my own real live Meercat Manor!!!

Good price, easy location
Super easy location, right off I-40, friendly staff, and cheap. It is old and somewhat run-down, but beds were comfy.

Good central location
Hotel was in a good location easy access to I40 and Tramway Blvd. Room was clean and staff did its best to keep up with the normal squalor you have while on vacation. Staff was helpful I would recommend this hotel to most people.
