Deming Hotels - Cheap Hotels in Deming, United States

Booked room at last minute over Internet while in Las Cruces. Reservation was ready when we arrived an hour later. Front desk clerk was friendly and efficient -- only 5 minutes to check-in. Electronic key worked 1st time. To my suprise, room had two firmness levels of pillow (firm & soft) which I have never seen before. Beds were comfortable -- not worn out. No smell of smoke or pets. Bathroom very clean. Room we had was quiet even though it was on the I-10 side of the building. Lots of cars in the parking lot, including semi trucks, but very quite even in the morning.

The staff was very helpful and the room was great. Was close to everything that we need to get to.

Pluses are a decent, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, free Wifi, fridge, microwave and decent complimentary breakfast. Bed was good and it was quiet. Limitations are open corridors in a typical motel setting(so this should be a 2 star hotel and not 3 star as categorized by some agencies), no view to pseak of, and a paucity of power outlets. I unplugged the hair dryer and coffeee maker near the wash basin in order to charge my laptop and cell phone. TV was a CRT, not a newer flat screen, but it worked fine. On the whole it provided a comfortable and restful stay.

It was clean but old. Needs some updating

Convenient location right next to the freeway. Checked in late but the staff was polite and helpful. The free continental breakfast was great and was the deciding factor between this and holiday inn.

Thanksgiving with family. Nice to know you can take the dogs with you and not worry! Staff very personable.

We did not like anything about the experience at the Super 8 Motel. Did not like the fact that Orbitz locked us in that motel and were not able to go to a beter hotel with out loosing all our money. Did not like the fact that apon confirmation of motel I called the motel and requested first floor facing parking lot, when we arrived we were given a room on side of motel that did not face the parking lot and was on the second floor. Did not like the fact that when you walked down the halls and the stairs that it was at least estimating 95 deg. There were A/C units in the stairwells and not one of them were on. Did not like the attitude of the managent of the motel (proebly owners) did not care that we were clearly disatisfied with the place. They knew that they had our money and knew they did not have to do anything if we stayed or not. Did not like the fact that when you walk into the entry way of the reception area it was very cool till you opened the second door and got hit in the face with the sauna temperature. We tried three rooms to try and get near parking on the ground floor lot due to the fact that we had a trailer and motor cycles that we needed to watch. The rooms had a bad odor to them and were very hot to the point turned on the A/C and it ran none stop the whole time we were there and that we went to Wal Mart to get room deodorizers to be able to stay there due to the odor. The morning we were due to leave we packed up and went to breakfast, we DID NOT CHECK out so we could make a last sweep of the room and possibly use the restroom before we got on the road. The motel took the liberty of striping the room before we checked out. My son had left a shirt in the room and they already had it in the laundry room with the sheets. It was 10:00 am when we returned to check out. Check out time was at 11:00 am. We would NEVER recomond SUPER 8 MOTEL or ORBITZ. We will never stay at that motel or any one linked with this motel and will tell all our friends about the bad experiance with Orbitz due to the 100% NON-REFUNDIABLE clause of Orbitz. We were looking for a good motel and a way to be able to reserve rooms on line for an anual event with about 12 couples and families in Deming, New Mexico, for sure these two companies will never get our buisness again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comfortable for one night and very clean. Vinyl wood floors in rooms vs carpet let me "see" that the floor was clean. Staff very helpful. Even came to my room to help with my internet connection. AM coffee was a bit weak but hey, I like it super strong so I'm hard to please on that one. I really like motel 6 for a quick over night, on the road stay. Have stayed in many and only once had a slightly older and less than perfect room..

This just like previous stays was very acceptable.

We had a very good time while in Deming, the hotel and staff were great, the resturant on the property was a plus, the specials were priced very low for the amount and quality of food served. It would have been nice to have a small coffee pot in the room, however, coffee was available in the loby.

Arrived with classic cars so the staff allowed us to park under the front overhang. very nice and helpful staff. only there one night.

The room was dirty and very outdated. We also spotted live roaches. The sink had a crack in it as well as the shower. Security (if any) way below standard. Undesirable activities going on in the parking area, in front of some of the rooms. On the up side, the management was very nice and friendly.

Room smelled, shower was a dump, wake up call came late. Bed was comfortable, fridge and microwave worked, lots of TV channels. I would rather spend a few more dollars than stay here again

The hotel is of the old style and need an updating but, that said it was spotless. The owner was super nice and very helpful. I am sure she cleaned the rooms and she did a great job. The only issue is it was a bit noisy at night but other that that we could walk to Palma's Italian Restaurant a few blocks away (which is great) and look at the older homes along the way.
