Unbeatable location for this price

We went to a football game at NMSU. This hotel is right across the street. We could walk over and avoid all the traffic. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious. the staff very friendly.

You should go to the "Double Eagle" in Mesilla Valley for Dinner. (10 minute drive) It was delicious. For Drinks "Dublins" is within walking distance to the hotel. very fun atmosphere.

Peaceful Hotel

The hotel was nice and the staff were friendly but the rooms were a bit dated. You could also hear the traffic from the interstate at night.

Great Stay!

All motels in a college town are noisy on a game night! Motel can't do much to help that so we use ear plugs! The beds were great and the staff is super! Can't go wrong for the price either.

Friendly Family and Business Enviornment.

At the Sleep Inn, it was comfortable and family friendly. The wireless internet was easily accessible and all the other features in the room were very useful. The thing that I found was most interesting was that at first sight I didn't think that there was a bathroom door, but it actually was a sliding door inside the wall. That was really cool and different from what I have ever seen in a hotel. The maids didn't really clean the room daily, but more of a knock on the door to see if fresh linens are needed. The staff was really nice and very helpful. The hotel was located right across the street from New Mexico State University and very accessible to many of the businesses and places I needed to go. There was also plenty of parking for the guests at the hotel. I thought the stay was enjoyable, I would recommend this hotel to others. My only dislikes were that there were no non-smoking rooms available. Other than that I had an enjoyable stay. Also, the big office chair and desk were also really comfortable and were set up perfectly for my homework and exam space.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Two of the best places to have a bite to eat is at Lorenzo's and Bennigans. McDonald's and Dairy Queen are right next to the hotel. A coffee shop with drive thru serves gourmet coffee and iced drinks.
