Check out Ft. Union about 40 minutes north. Worth the trip if you are interested in out past heritage.

good location, nice facility, clean
Las Vegas is a very nice town; we enjoyed looking at the historical architecture, window shopping (just before Christmas) and the food was excellent everywhere we went.

Used the hotel as base of operation for local day trips; next to interstate and okay room; near sit down restaruants, fast food, and fuel; laptop set up awkward and WiFii spotty; staff helpful and friendly; value to me was okay room for good price in a good regional location

My review of Days Inn Las Vegas
The hotel itself was very pleasant, and we enjoyed our night there. However, telephone calls go unanswered for many hours on end, and it is very difficult to speak to anyone, since the front desk is frequently unmanned.
