Wonderful mother daughter retreat
Room was clean and spacious. The grounds are well kept and absolutley gorgeous! It is enjoyable to sit outside and be among the tall pines and aspens. We always stay here when we come to Ruidoso because the setting is beautiful and they are dog friendly. The Friday to Sunday breakfast was excellent. Monday's breakfast offerings were not as good. It would be nice if there was a fitness room available.

Awesome Mountain getaway
The hotel was nice, enjoyed it. The only issue was that the water pressure was very low, but the location has something to do with that. The town is a little weird if your a gay traveler..but other than that I like it.

spur of the moment ski trip
This hotel was perfect for our quick, on a whim ski trip. We weren't in the room very much, but it was clean, warm, and comfy. The only issue we had was, we booked a non-smoking room and the door to the room had a no smoking sign, but the room had clearly been smoked in. The front desk was very accommodating and moved us into an actual non smoking room.

Nice hotel but...
The hotel is in a very nice location, it is clean and beautiful, Breakfast is very good, wifi and parking also. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the hot water system is very unstable. Every time you take a shower, the water goes suddendly from very hot to very cold and back, every two minutes. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend until they fix this problem.

overnight stay
little strange for the lightswitch for the bathroom to be outside of the bathroom, and behind the door when bathroom door is open. wifi sucked. showed to be connected but could not go anywhere, tried ipad, laptop, kindle fire, nothing worked. otherwise stay was good, love the location and surroundings of this motel.

Comfortable and Friendly Motel
A friendly and helpful staff makes for a perfect stay at this motel. The continental breakfast was good as well. I would stay here again.

Fairly comfortable, but...
The room was clean and obviously taken care of, but was dated. The bed was nothing special, but it wasn't uncomfortable, either. The main issue was water pressure in the bathroom: very poor. Overall it wasn't a waste of money, but I will stay elsewhere next time.

Not enough water pressure to flush the toilet. Not enough water pressure to take a good shower. Room key had to be corrected four times. Employees comment on water problem was the management was too tight to correct the on going water problem.{More than one employee}

wonderful time
The location was wonderful. It is nestled up in the mountains with plenty of open space to see a sunset or enjoy the cool mountain air. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I had a fantastic time. I WILL go back again
