The town seems to close up at night during the week. Dining in the hotel was the best deal in town. All the action seemed to be at our hotel bar.

Great for first time family/group visitors
Kids enjoyed the surprisingly warm and comfortable pool temperature even in the chilly morning. Sherry service was delightful. Full breakfast a treat (although after 5th day got a bit redundant). Perfect location for seeing the city sights of Santa Fe. Smallish rooms but lobby space was always available for group get togethers. Thanks!

Fantastic getaway
What a relaxing and comforting stay! It was small enough and large enough for us to vacation here. We were close to everything to walk or drive. The decorations made it a perfect hotel in Santa Fe and all the special touches made it very easy to stay here. The breakfast was good food that was presented well. The fireplaces added ambiance and warmth.

Excellent location-but...
This hotel is very well located at 1 1/2 blocks from the Plaza. The amenities in the room were very good and the room was well decorated and well maintained. The included buffet breakfast was very adequate but got boring after 2 days. Common areas were well done but not very extensive. The pool was small and in a very constrained area. I was very disappointed with this hotel because it had the aspect of a remodeled and updated Travelodge and did not have the special ambiance, style or amenities which would justify the price.

Great people, location and service.
Good downtown location only a couple of blocks from the plaza. Super buffet breakfast included in room rate. Had dinner both nights in hotel bar which is a popular after-work location for people living in Santa Fe. Better than typical bar food. Front desk people were very helpful with directions and recommendations. We did the walking tour and also the trolly tour reserved by the desk with pick-up out front.

Don't miss the native Americans displaying and selling their wares at the Plaza. Also walking after dark in the downtown area is supposed to be very safe.

"Excellent choice"
The room was great... nice quality of amenities in the bathroom. Service was excellent, especially the afternoon concierge and the tea/sherry/cookies. Location is outstanding; easy to walk to all the historic spots and galleries. Will definitely stay there again!
