Highlight of our stay in New Mexico!

Wonderful Inn lodging. From the moment we arrived, my husband and I were welcomed and enjoyed warm hospitality. The front desk staff handled our unexpected arrival (one day early - my fault!) with good humor and kindness, and put us up in a fabulous room (King-sized bed, fireplace) for the evening at a very reasonable price. The next day, we were transferred seamlessly to our earlier-reserved Queen-bed room (also lovely). We stayed three nights (instead of two) because of the ambience, location (short walking distance to the Historic Districts and fabulous restaurants), great room, convenient parking, delicious breakfasts (included), afternoon cookies, and fabulous staff!

Wonderful location, great accommodations, lackluster staff

We much enjoyed our stay, and would perhaps return. The location and the accommodations were great (only the bed a little soft for our tastes). It's terrific to be close to town yet not in one of the noisier hotels right in the center. Our misgiving was the front desk staff, who were lackluster. No warm greetings whenever we appeared, sometimes the reception bordered on indifference. But the big issue of concern is that we purchased our rooms in advance, via Orbitz, and confirmed this arrangement upon check-in, only to be told, upon checking out (and with another staff member behind the desk) that we had not yet been charged for the room. I had to go to the car and dig up the Orbitz receipt and re-verify with them that I had, indeed, paid. This staff member was the most lackluster of the bunch, and was not the least bit apologetic for his error. I think we may try another place first before we return to this inn.

Go to Clafoutis for breakfast, but note that it is closed on Sundays. Get there early, for waiting until later will assure a long line.

Perfect in so many ways!

Perfect location two blocks from the railyard, a block from the downtow, next door to government offices if your work is related to them, three blocks from Canyon Road, right beside the only greenspace in the inner city with the Santa Fe River greenway. Plenty of parking. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, clean, well appointed room. Trouble free free wireless internet. Nice breakfast. I will use this as my basecamp for future trips to Santa Fe without hesitation. Perfect place to really see the core city without need for a car.

Warm and friendly

The hotel is small and friendly, reminding us of a B&B. Breakfast is wonderful, rooms are small but more than adequate. The location is in walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and museums. I'd stay here again.

Great stay in Santa Fe

We have visited Santa Fe numerous times and stayed at a few different hotels and have found the Old Santa Fe Inn to be the best place to stay especially for the money. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good! Because of its location, we parked the car and walked everywhere we wanted to go, so we didn't need to hassle with trying to find a place to park near the plaza. We will continue to stay at the Old Santa Fe Inn on our future visits.

Great hotel for Santa Fe

We spent 5 days with The Old Santa Fe Inn and loved it. A little less than $200 a night average (including taxes, etc) on a holiday weekend seemed fair to us.It's so convenient to the Plaza area downtown. The parking is free and we just walked to the Plaza a couple of times a day.

Nice and cozy!

My husband and I agree that this is our new place to bunk in Santa Fe. For years we had stayed near the Plaza, but the Old Santa Fe Inn is worth the extra walk. I chose this place because of the wi-fi, free breakfast, and price. The burrito buffet provided fruit, do-it-yourself waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and bacon--much more substantial than a continental breakfast. This particular trip included business. We were participating in a selling event at a local hotel. Our room had a wonderful little programmable safe, which gave me much peace of mind. The wi-fi was strong and reliable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was straightened up daily. Parking is free and fairly plentiful. The place was full this last weekend.
