very family friendly
We felt so relaxed and taken care of at the Country Inn of Taos that we extended our stay for an extra night and decided to go back next year for even longer. Our family included my 80 year old mother, my husband, my 10 year old daughter and myself. This inn and it's wonderful owner met the needs and pleasures of everyone. And every suggestion made, whether it was for dinner or jewelry or art was an A+. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed sitting right outside the room watching the sunset. The breakfasts were amazing - buttermilk pancakes from scratch will change the expectations of my family forever. We look forward to going back.

Taos B and B
The Country Inn of Taos is very close to town and has gorgeous grounds with singing birds, prairie dogs and beautiful sunsets. The owner, will give you all the ideas you need to see the area, with maps included. Her breakfast was delicious, with a juice and cereal bar followed up with a hot selection every day. I was in her junior suite, a two room suite with a full living room and separated bedroom and bath. The tile and fixtures are all color coordinated with the Southwest and are attractive and comfortable. There is a fire place for winter, which I am hoping to try out when I go back. The bed was heavenly. It is very quiet there. The town of Taos is a few minutes drive. She also has a freezer and fridge in the main house for any stored food items and cold drinks. I loved it there.

Taos has shopping, dining, recreation and historical sites, all within easy reach. Taos Pueblo is a few miles down the road, rich with history and a people who were the original inhabitants of the area. Rafting, horseback riding, hiking, music: it's all there.
