A little scary......
This sounded ok for my needs in the description. Just sleeping and showering. Unfortunately it seems to be a residential motel. A lot of "interesting" people hanging around, vehicles with flat tires sitting in the parking lot. The staff seemed nice but it is not what it is represented to be in the description.

Ehhh...
You get what you pay for. It was a very good deal and I do not regret staying there...however, it is a little run down, and "dirty". Its all in how you look at it and your preference....

The best I can say is the the motel clerk was very friendly and helpful. This motel is not in a very nice part of Carson City. If you are a single man, just looking for a quick cheap place to stay for the night, this will work. However, if you are with your wife/GF and/or kids, spend a little more money and look for another place to stay. Our room had a view of a lot with a chainlink fence with razor wire on the top. The room was old and needed work. I would not stay here again.

What a horrible experience, no star
This hotel is a sham, no body should spend a minut of their life in it. Sheet were not changed from the night before, the pool...heh...a play pan is biger and cleaner, it is a joke. The nighbourhood is horible. I do not know why Orbitz is marketing this kind of junk. At first sight we canceled our reservation, which was way over what the rates were, and found some other place.

Carson City adventures
Stayed here for a wedding in South Lake Tahoe because of the price. Motel let us check in early to get ready for the wedding which was great. Rooms were very basic and fulfilled our needs for the trip. Bed sheets had some holes in them and looked very old. No iron or ironing board.

I arrived at my room and my door was open and all my pillows,towels, and toilet paper was gone! I paid a higher rate on this website and they quoted $15 less at the desk and the man said you prepaid there is nothing i can do!

very family friendly
The Americas Best Value Inn in Carson City, Nv. was not only comfortable, but had the things in it that we needed to make us feel like we were at home. There was an icebox, coffee maker, and microwave. We really enjoyed our stay there. When we returned to our room for the night it was clean and the bed was made. It was in a perfect location to where we were visiting and very easy to find.

1. there were a few casinos along the same street. 2. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from right down the road. 3. About 10 minutes from the hotel you had a good view of the mountains with snow.

Nice staff, bad hotel
When we arrived the man at the desk was very nice and professional. The air conditioner in our room didn't work. The man at the desk gave a new and larger room. However, the room had to have been one that was used for pets. It smelled of urine soooooo bad. We had to buy fabreze and keep spraying it the length of our stay. The carpeted floor trimms had white dog hairs sticking out of them and we found bugs crawling on us several times. This was very upsetting to find a bug on my 7 year old grandaughter while she was sleeping. I want you to understand the staff at this hotel were very pleasant and were trying to make our stay a nice one, but they seemed to be opperating on a shoe string. We choose this hotel so we would have a pool and the 1st day the pool was so covered with dead bugs and debrea that we were not comfortable using it.
