hotel room was nice and quiet. we asked for extra blankets, and they came fast. the only gripe i had was that the pool was closed and we had no way of knowing that until we got there. no warning on website or signs anywhere.

Great Place in the Middle of Nowhere

Comfort Suites Fernley is an oasis in the middle of nowhere. I did not expect to find such a clean, spacious, and comfortable room out in the sticks. The place rivalled many of the higher-priced hotels I've stayed in far larger cities.

We liked our stay here, even though the train startled us a few times during our stay. The room was excellent, as was the bed and bath. The breakfast was a fine full course meal. They had two computers in the lobby for anyone who does not carry a laptop, like me. [...]

We offer Corporate, Senior, Government and Military rates. Pet friendly/10 USD fee per day, Our Pool and SPA will be closed from 11/15/2011 to 03/15/2012

If you need somewhere to sleep, this place has beds. Continental breakfast was meager at best. Rooms looked older, but seemed decently clean. Nothing special, but it is a hotel. It was central to where I was traveling, so it worked out fine.

Nicest of the several Super 8s we've visited on this long trip. Breakfast selections are slim, but o.k.
Elevator to the upper floor location was a help to our companion with a bad leg.
