Groups booking beware
Recently we hosted a group of 50 at this hotel. We found a lack of leadership, frustrated employees, hidden fees, an overall frustrating experience. Upon check in, our rooms were not located where promised, creating much confusion. The restaurant was not prepared for our party of 40 upon arrival (although booked well in advance). Services described as complementary for the group, became last minute charges. I would not recommend this for group or corporate events.

Beautiful Villa hidden on the outskirts of Henderson
We enjoyed a beautiful elegant room at Ravella. The kingsize bed was so comfortable and the view of the garden made our trip to Vegas a whole different experience compared to staying on the strip. The only bad thing was when we returned to our car in the parking structure, it had been broken into and all our electronics were stolen. The management was slow to react and security was too busy to talk to us. Maybe the only way to get first class service and attention is to valet. Maybe then they will monitor people breaking into the cars of guests.

Don't pass this place for experience
My husband and I lodged in Ravella hotel for the first time. We called in to the lake 6 years ago to admire a landscape. Impressions were the most pleasant. Now we were lucky to live 2 days in Ravella hotel. The territory, rooms, the atmosphere of hotel and environment of the village were delightful. We unexpectedly received a room with a small view of the lake from the 14th floor! The size of a room (1 bed) was sufficient to dance. The carpet was pure, though in light tone. Neighbors didn't submit life signs. From a wonderful well-groomed garden live music every evening (Friday, Saturday) flew. Remarkable idea - live fire in the middle of an internal court yard. Though we had also a negative experience of stay in hotel: - in 2 days we didn't wait dressing gowns in a room, ordered on a reception; - at the reveille order the call was late for 15 minutes. The pool in hotel was very relaxing. Two charming girls tirelessly bypassed guests and accepted orders for drinks and snack. We shouldn't look for or call them. Was one view enough and the order is accepted. They honest earned the 20 % of tip. Next time my family will look for offers in Ravella for rest. Recommendations: - to have the car - for quiet respectable rest.

Short walk from hotel
We chose Bernard's Bistro restaurant (Lake Village) for a breakfast. Pancakes with spinach and mushrooms were very good. The husband ordered onions soup. The French soup was better than in Paris. One soup + 2 dishes (hot pancakes with stuffings) + 1 dessert + 2 beers and 1 coffee = $60.

Beautiful Property
This is a great little find just 25 minutes south of the LV strip. It was quiet and peaceful. The room was ok, but the lobby, pool, service, etc. was fantastic. I think we will upgrade to a suite next time we go. The pool also has no chlorine, just salt water. Nice change to all the chemicals. Defintely worth the extra drive for some rest and relaxation.

Mainly high end restaurants just a short distance /walk from hotel. As far as casual you have pizza and Mexican. We have two small kids, so we opted for more casual dining. I would definitley do the Mexican next time as the pizza was just ok.

Perfect way to relax.
We came to Ravella after two nights off the strip. Since we were traveling with young teenage girls this environment was much nicer. The scenery was beautiful. The pool and beach area were really nice. We loved the boat rentals on the lake and the village within walking distance. The casino was even close enough for me to win a few bucks without taking the shuttle back to the crowds. We will go back!!

Disappointing
We were traveling to the Ravella for a wedding but were also looking forward to enjoying the Las Vegas strip as well. We were told that there were shuttles traveling back and forth from the Ravella to the strip. The limited shuttle availability was a huge inconvenience. Being located so far away from the strip one would think that it would be beneficial to accommodate your guests in order be competitive with so many other Las Vegas resorts. The front desk staff, who are responsible for the customer service, were less than satisfactory! I do have to mention that our shuttle drivers, especially Jennifer, were the highlight of the staff. They truly understand customer service and made the 25 minute ride enjoyable.

Great Birthday Weekend
Spent my Daughters Birthday at Hotel. Hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Rooms were large and well equipped. Staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Kids enjoyed walking around village and exploring the lake, and Pool area. Only down side is hotel is on the expensive side for meals, drinks etc. Might be better off to eat at local places. Area very safe for kids to hang out on own, so us parents can chill by pool.

Keep an eye out for local village events as they have wine walks and entertainment by the lake during summer months. Great place to stay during those weekends.

Surprise!!!
To begin with I drove from my residence in California late on Saturday evening, after making an online reservation, I stated on the reservation I was going to be a late arrival, so that they would hold a room I had paid for, as I arrived the first thing that the front desk attendant said was that they didn't see my reservation and they were completely sold out. I showed them one of my copies of the reservation for which they told me that they would research to see why it wasn't in their system, they proceeded to give me a room for which I was very thankful. On Sunday morning I called the front desk because I didn't receive a copy of the bill at my room, they informed me of the extra charges for the resort fees would be $26.00 more than what I had been charged for the reservation, I said ok, what choice did I have? To my surprise I receive an extra charge of $151.70 on the credit card I used on Wednesday April 25, 2012. So I called to resolve this, I spoke to the call center and they proceeded to call the hotel, speak to the manager and have them fax me the receipt for the refund of the over charge. I gave my fax and e-mail information and as I waited on the line I received a fax from the hotel without any writing on it. I ponder at this situation and conclude that if they don't even know how to send a fax, they don't know how to run a hotel either. If it had happened differently I would highly recommend this hotel, but after all that occurred I would be very hesitant to do just that.
