Bellagio is both beautiful and classy. My only negative comment is related to check in: the woman who took care of our check in spoke such broken English that it was very hard to understand her. I surely missed out on some information. Clean, lovely, overall.

Almost perfect

  • Groom's family
  • 20 May 2012
We were in town for a family wedding. We had a great time, but missed having a coffeemaker in our room and a refridgerator that we could use without being afraid of being charged for moving bottles. The pools were great, but having to pay to use the lazy river tubes was a bit much. Beware of the $25 a day resort fee, and be ready to pay it as you check out. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were very helpful.

If you are looking to be in the middle of all the action, skip this hotel but if you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing place with the best pool in Vegas, this place is your ticket. We were so pleased with Mandalay Bay that we are planning to return. A little bit away from the heart of the strip but we were not interested in being in the middle of the noise and crowds. Highly recommend!

Great Hotel, So So Room

  • Phinn
  • 2 May 2012
Obviously Caesars is one of the best casinos in Vegas, but the expensive and small, basic room was too hot (with no way to adjust the pre set temperature), and they charge for just about everything (including half the daily amount for a 5 hour checkout extension and $25 a day for wireless Internet access). The restaurants and casinos are fantastic, as is the decor.

Description
The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas will celebrate the magic and fantasy of Carnevale this summer, featuring three months of classic Italian festivities, including new experiences, entertainment, art, music and wine throughout both resorts from June 4 to Sept. 9. Features include the nightly electric light parade starting at 8 pm (winding its way throughout the resort, with electric gondoliers, courtesans, stilt walkers and jugglers creating a visual spectacle); the light show 4 times nightly (the iconic clock tower illuminates in a spectacular five-minute 3-D show); Carnevale Nights (a night of revelry, for ages 21 and up); and daytime children's and family activies, including decorating Venetian masks with feathers and sequins, searching for clues on a scavenger hunt, and being entertained by roaming balloon artists and face painters (daily from 10 am to 6 pm). In addition, enjoy the Art Walk June 4-30 with art pieces displayed in the WOW space and in participating stores in Venetian and Palazzo Shoppes. Featured are glass blower Robert Shield June 4-10, 3D artist Melanie June 11-17, pottery wheel clay artist Thom Bumblauskas June 18-23, and Living Art and the Live Mona Lisa June 24-30. With such a spectacular setting, it's clear from the minute you arrive that this is an all-suite, five-diamond resort destination with something extra. Located on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip and approximately four miles from McCarran Airport, The Venetian triumphs in recreating the glory of Venice. Suites start at 650 square feet, nearly twice the size as a typical Las Vegas hotel room. The Palazzo is steps away and offers guests more amenities and features to enjoy. Faithful replications of the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, the Campanile Tower, and St. Mark's Square offer awe-inspiring sights and sounds true to the crown jewel of Europe. Don't miss the quarter-mile Grand Canal set in a frescoed sunset sky where gondoliers serenade their passengers on the romantic ride of a lifetime. Features such as the 134,000-square-foot Canyon Ranch SpaClub, the more than 80 international boutiques of The Grand Canal Shoppes, an opulent casino featuring all your table and slot games, a five-acre pool deck, menus created by celebrity chefs including Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, David Burke, Thomas Keller, and Mario Batali, and the entertainment of Blue Man Group, Phantom - the Las Vegas Spectacular, and Wayne Brady guarantee every visit to The Venetian will be unforgettable. There is a daily resort fee of $20 plus tax that will be charged upon check-in. Resort fee includes daily access to the complete fitness center located inside the Canyon Ranch SpaClub for up to two guests, unlimited en-suite high-speed Internet access, unlimited local and toll-free telephone calls, daily newspaper, free boarding pass printing, one free regular coffee at Cafe Presse and a 2-for-1 well drink, house wine, or domestic beer at La Scena, Oculus, Laguna, Fusion or Salute lounges. 20th Anniversary

  • Happy Hubby and Wifey
  • 20 May 2012
My husband and I stayed at the Venetian for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. From start to finish we loved our stay. The entire hotel had a wonderful aroma and our room was fantastic! We stayed in the luxury suite facing the strip. The view was fantastic. The entire room felt elegant. I wish I could have taken the bathroom home with me! The only negatives would be that the hotel's layout is somewhat confusing and more maps could be placed throughout the hotel indicating "you are here" etc., and the fridges were packed full with beverages you literally could not even pick up and put back down without being charged (nope we're not kidding). It would have been nice to be able to use the fridge for food or our own drinks, etc. All in all we would definately recommend this hotel and we will certainly plan a trip back!

Great value, would stay here again

  • Tom9
  • 20 May 2012
Our stay at the Imperial Palace was comfortable and a great deal. The beds and room (standard double queen) were clean overall. Everything in the room worked, though the TV was quite old. The air conditioning kept us cool even when it was over 100 degrees outside. There were no noise issues either. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the strip. The front of the hotel/casino is undergoing renovation (as of May 2012) but it wasn't really an issue. General conclusion: not the fanciest hotel but the prices are usually low enough to make up for it and the location can't be beat.

its long been known the Imperial reallllllllly needs to be renovated and it looks as if they have started it in stages....sort of a pain to have to walk way around the building to access main strip but the end result will be worth it. Carpet is old, fixtures are as well but the staff was exceptional, well mannered, and helpful...I rec'd a fantastic rate staying for a trade show by myself...room was very clean as well.....next show I'd stay again...it's right in the middle of everything so location was great!

The Mirage's 3,044 guest rooms and suites have undergone a $110 million dollar renovation. The new rooms will feature simple lines with an ergonomic design detailed to give a high-end feel, while warm woods and a bold color scheme transport the rooms into the realm of chic. Ultra-modern upgrades and amenities including LCD TVs and iHome MP3 docks provide everything necessary for a truly lavish experience to cater to both the leisure and business traveler (Mirage Events Center offers over 171,000-square-feet of convention space). Bare at The Mirage offers an exclusive adult alternative to the typical Las Vegas pool experience. With its distinctive contemporary ambiance and ultra VIP service, Bare is ideal for those wanting to relax, kick-back and socialize or turn up the music and heat up the day. If lounging by the pool leaves you famished, try the wide variety of Fine Dining. From steak and seafood at kokomo's to Italian-American fare at Onda Ristorante, or modern contemporary Japanese cuisine at Japonais. Or, for a more casual setting stop by the Carnegie Deli (the only outpost outside of NYC), Cravings buffet, BLT Burger or the California Pizza Kitchen. For entertainment, Cirque du Soleil's latest creation, "LOVE," showcases the music of The Beatles in a custom-built, multi-million dollar theater. Winner of "America's Got Talent," Terry Fator is the resort's resident impressionist/ventriloquist/singer/comedian. In addition, myriad lounges offer lively libations and live entertainment, and, of course, the tropical-themed casino has a wide variety of slots, video poker, and table games and a race and sports book. *** Guests must be 21 or older to check in. Haute cuisine and hot casino action fantastique combine with unsurpassed attention to detail, from the decor of the guest rooms to the 50-story replica of the Eiffel Tower. The larger-than-life imagination that defines Las Vegas soars to new heights at Paris Las Vegas. Opulent style, fine craftsmanship, and authentic details elevate Paris Las Vegas far above the ordinary. The elegant hotel tower has 2,916 spacious guestrooms with 295 opulent suites. Sumptuous fabrics, custom European furniture, and luxurious marble bathrooms make each guestroom and suite a sophisticated private retreat. Authentically replicated Parisian landmarks include the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre facade, the Paris Opera House, and a cobblestoned French street at the base of the Eiffel Tower that is home to the casino. An outdoor oasis nestles the pool in an authentic French garden. Barry Manilow begins a 2-year residency at the intimate and elegant 1500-seat Paris Theatre in March! An all new show full of music and magic, customized for the Paris Las Vegas showroom, presents the sincere and unforgettable songs of the legendary performer as never before. Performances will be on select Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Hypnotist Anthony Cools is back at Paris Las Vegas, using his skills for decidedly evil purposes, tapping into the carnal desires and subconscious naughtiness of his audience, shearing off all inhibitions. Signature stunts in his hilarious and interactive 90-minute show include handshakes that induce vocal, sexual responses, as well as several other tricks so shocking, we can't even print them. Cools pushes the limits of the mind and body, while remaining careful not to embarrass his subjects, a courtesy that has earned him a cult following. Enjoy the lush surroundings of a manicured French garden from a private Pool Villa or Cabana. Cabanas include misters, ceiling fan, sofa bed with coffee table, patio table, 4 patio chairs, 5 padded lounge chairs, refrigerator stocked with soda, juice and water, phone, local/cable TV, fruit basket, newspaper, 2 complimentary raft rentals, pool towels, and cabana host/hostess and food server. Pool Villas are air conditioned rooms with a sunbathing courtyard, and have all these amenities, plus radio/CD player and 32" LCD flat screen TV. Cocktails and Food Service is available. Due to the limited number of Cabanas and Villas, reservations are strongly recommended. With the new Pet Stay Initiative, Paris Las Vegas is now pet friendly! Book special Pet Stay rooms at a slightly increased fee, and stay with your favorite pet. Guests traveling with their dog will be asked to fill out a waiver form accepting responsibility for any damage or cleaning charges that may occur while at the hotel. Dogs are only allowed in specified guestrooms and guests must make reservations in advance to travel with their dog. The hotel only allows dogs that weigh less than 50 pounds and up to two dogs are allowed per room. Please note that guests MUST book the Pet Friendly room category in order to bring their dog on property. *** Guests must be 21 or older to check into this property. *** An additional-person charge will apply to all persons staying in the room, regardless of age. We regret that children cannot stay free. *** PLEASE NOTE- At time of check-in, each individual guest will be required to provide the hotel with a valid credit card or cash deposit in the amount of $100 per each day of guest stay if paying via credit card, or $200 for the entire guest stay if paying via cash (the $200 cash deposit will only activate in-room mopvies and phone)."

Paris Las Vegas

  • Lou123
  • 19 May 2012
We spent four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The Paris location is great for getting around. Our room was spacious and comfortable. If I had to address one issue it would be the loud music from the Cabaret which permeated the entire casino almost every night so that we had to do our gambling elsewhere.

Awesome wedding destination!

Overall a near perfect stay! My husband and I flew to Vegas to get married and loved being right in the middle of the Strip! Easy access to everything and everywhere. I had never been to Vegas and booked soley off the information on the website and was very pleased. My only criticism is the cost of meals in the hotel eating establishments. We ended up going out of the hotel for meals. otherwise, it was an awsome experience!

Fabulously funky, fun and surreal. The Royal House is a refreshingly eccentric mix of cool indie vibe and quirky creativity meets authentic Vegas lifestyle. The unique areas of the Royal House blend together to create a shabby-chic boutique hotel ambiance. A gilded pool table and art deco shuffleboard, designed by Olhausen exclusively for The Royal, provides the perfect atmosphere to get your game on. If you want to channel your inner Liberace, a 70s inspired artwork painted on a baby grand piano will encourage this.

I was in Las Vegas working for two weeks. The Royal was perfect. Affordable. Clean, quiet, and no casinowith the associated stench. The staff was great, plenty of parking with security. I have a two year contract in Vegas and I will be staying at the Royal when I am in town.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at the Cosmopolitan. It's not going to fall in the value category by any stretch of the imagination but if you want to spoil yourself and indulge in an incredibly posh Vegas experience then the Cosmopolitan is for you. Service is top rate and the hotel room is second to none. The pools are amazing but unless you want to fork out a bundle for a reserved chair or cabana get their early.

The location, staff, and building architecture were far above expectations. The room s balcony overlooking the Belagio fountain is just over the top compared with all the other 5 star hotels. The buffet and Milos dining was excellent, however, the asian, mexican, and Deli that serves hotels guests were below average for high end Vegas standards, The only negative = no coffee maker in the room, no fridge space for drinks (unless you want to take out a consumer loan to finance their fridge and snack choices)

Pure luxury. The hotel is beautiful. Access to the guest room area is restricted to those carrying a key card. The upgrade to the panoramic view was well worth the money. The Parasol lounge at night was great. The staff was very friendly. Down side is that the tables started at higher stakes, so losing money was fast and the drinks in the bar were way overpriced.

The hotel was a lot of fun with a lot to do and friendly staff. The staff was very helpful with luggage and housekeeping. I also appreciated having a safe within the room. The downfalls were the pool was closed making it an inconvenience, as well as the lack of microwaves and mini fridges in the rooms. Having a fridge in the room would have made a huge difference.

I consider quality inn a very average hotel. There are no slot machines, no poker tables found here. But that is what I liked about this hotel. I wanted a peaceful, quiet and normal hotel where I can sleep and get some rest. The weight room needs improvement. The weight room is lacking bar bells and kettle balls. Overall, if you want a hotel without the glitz and glamour of las vegas, this is the hotel for you.

I completed some training and the price for this hotel was good. It was quick and easy to get in and out of versus one of the major hotels. The area was a little seedy. Not where I would want to eat dinner but the rooms were clean and comfortable. We did hear police sirens serveral times during the night. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to enjoy.

Since this was our first trip to Vegas we did't know what to expect. We were pleased with the services we received and any help we needed to get around the hotel and Vegas.

Description
Located next door to flagship property Wynn Las Vegas, Encore is a distinct destination with its own repertoire of accommodations, culinary offerings and leisure activities. Central to Encore's fanciful and intimate atmosphere are sunlit corridors with flowering atria and sprawling pools visible from throughout the property. Natural light floods the resort to reveal vibrant butterflies, signature mosaics, textured environments and elegant detailing. A refuge of sophisticated chic, the 2,034 suites offer the ultimate luxury of space in a comfortable, residential setting. They feature floor to ceiling windows with dramatic views, thoughtful detailing, advanced technologies and timeless design. In keeping with the culinary standards set by Wynn Las Vegas, Encore's five signature restaurants pair our master chefs with personally-prepared gourmet fare to create culinary experiences prepared to please the most discerning and well-traveled palates. Whatever your pleasure, the restaurants at Encore don't just satisfy your appetite - they entertain it. Added to the array of imaginative cuisine cooked by the chefs themselves, are the unusually imaginative new restaurant environments at Botero, Sinatra, Switch, Wazuzu, and Society Cafe Encore. The Esplanade is retail therapy with offerings in clothing, shoe, jewelry, home decor and accessory stores. A vaulted avenue, the boutiques span from the distinguished Hermes to the eternally classic CHANEL. The chic social scene at Wynn Las Vegas expands with the club at Encore, aptly titled "XS," where too much is never enough. The poolside ambiance mingles with the nightclub's decadent vibe to create an oasis at Las Vegas' most exclusive address. XS is the gold standard in Vegas nightlife, where no extravagance is spared. Offering moments of contrast to the energizing pace of Las Vegas, the Spa and Salon provide yet another experience of comfort and elegant ambience, designed to emphasize the "treat" in treatments. Encore at Wynn Las Vegas creates a guest experience that is both uniquely Wynn and distinctly Encore. A mandatory resort fee of $25 plus tax per day will be charged at the front desk, covering the following amenities: Unlimited Local, Continental US Long Distance, Toll Free calls in room; Complimentary internet wired and wireless in room; and Fitness Center Access (does not include wet rooms or spa facilities). Grand relaxing hotel

My husband and I stayed at the Encore for our 10th anniversary. I have stayed at many hotels on the strip in Vegas and the Encore was spectacular. At first I thought the decor was a little over the top red, but when you take in the whole scenery it was vibrant and elegant. The pool was beautiful and relaxing and the staff was excellent. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

wonderful trip

I have nothing but good things to say about Tahiti Village!, except a few minor wishes. I wish the pool would have stayed open later to accomidate all the late nights on the strip. We weren't back to the hotel once before 8 to make it to the pool. Second wish is that the shuttle to the strip covered more locations and maybe one that goes downtown would have been nice. Other than these wishes, everything was great.

This is a very nice hotel. It is not in walking distance to the strip but provides a shuttle.
