Description
"Welcome to the house that fame built. Hip, modern, decidedly dramatic and the centerpiece of the Las Vegas Strip, Planet Hollywood Resort Casino is more than the newest resort in town. It's the shopping, dining, and gambling destination of choice for the city that celebrates celebrity. Over 2500 super-chic new rooms and suites feature hi-def television, and a truly unique PH touch: on display in every room, the most extensive collection of movie memorabilia in the world - over 8,500 pieces in all. Planet Hollywood Resort Casino has all the action you can handle, with three acres of gaming, a variety of table and slot games, a huge poker room, The Playing Field race and sports book, and the scintillating Pleasure Pit, with beautiful women dealing blackjack, clad in sensual lingerie, while go-go dancers cavort overhead. Enjoy headlining performances at the 7,000-seat Theater for the Performing Arts, home to both Miss America Pageant and Miss USA Pageant, and stage of choice for the biggest music acts in the world. Sip wonderfully delicious signature cocktails in the Heart Bar at the center of the casino, or check out who's being taped from Extra Lounge - home to the Vegas bureau of the insanely popular TV show, EXTRA! Catch the big game and a big brew at the Playing Field Lounge next to the race and sports book. Pose for your own close up with a favorite co-star at the intimate Living Room. Shop the 170 fabulous retail venues and 15 additional restaurants that make up our Miracle Mile Shops. Check out the specialty stores including retail brands such as Urban Outfitters, Ben Sherman, Quiksilver, bebe, Sephora, French Connection, Betsey Johnson and H&M. Entertainment options are endless thanks to V Theater and the Steve Wyrick Theatre containing Steve Wyrick: Real Magic. Dining highlights include Pampas Churrascaria Brazilian Grille, Todai Sushi & Seafood Buffet, ASIA Nightlife & Dining, Lombardi's Romagna Mia, La Salsa Cantina, Cheeseburger Las Vegas, Blondies Sports Bar & Grill, Trader Vic's and Hawaiian Tropic Zone. New exteriors and entrances plus a backlit water feature and huge LED sign with continuous streaming images highlight the ultra shopping area. At the Planet Hollywood Spa by Mandara, give your skin and everything inside it the Hollywood treatment, with massages, facials, hair and nail treatments, tanning and more. Relax and pamper yourself. If one pool overlooking The Strip is good, then two pools, two hot tubs, and a seasonal poolside cafe must be even better. (Pool open 10am-6pm, pool bar 11am-6pm, snack bar 11am-5pm.) The Chapel at Planet Hollywood is the perfect romantic spot to tie the knot. With the new Pet Stay Initiative, Planet Hollywood is now pet friendly! This hotel was great! I love it! Got an upgrade to the terrace studio with balcony facing the fountain! It was awesome! They have nice shampoo and soap, you'll probably want to ask for extras to take home =) The room was nice with 2 TV and all the lights can be control manually or just clicks away on the TV or your phone. Bathroom was big and has a bath tub where you can have a bubble bath that gives a massage and relax from all the walking you might do while you'll there. Negative: The pillow was a too soft for me.. and some stuff was missing from my room. Like my mini frig was empty but it came out to be a good thing for me because I can use it to keep water cold.

Had a great time staying at the hotel except for ONE issue. NEVER got to be in the type of room I requested for the ENTIRE stay. I figured maybe the hotel would try to accommodate in some way but got absolutely NOTHING. I would have to have almost a guarantee of the room requested before staying here again. Overall though the hotel was nice, wait staff and others were nice. Rooms were clean, and the casino is one of the best and cleanest on the strip.

The rooms are really clean and comfortable. They have an old western feel to them. You have a perfect location in the middle of the strip! I could see the bellagio fountain from my room window. The casino itself is one of the cheaper ones and a little dirty, but I never spend more than 2 hours in the same casino anyways. I'll definitely stay here again.

No frills, easy access to the best of The Strip

  • barbeeman Verified Customer
  • 20 Jan 2012
I stayed at Bill's only because of its proximity to the rest of The Strip (primarily to Caeser's and Bellagio). I was expecting a run-down room based on my previous experience in the casino. I was pleasantly surprised with the upkeep, and the bed was actually quite comfortable. Fair warning: ask to stay far away from the elevators as the constant noise from the shaft penetrates the thin walls of the rooms nearby. I stayed in room 331 and could hear the elevators all day and night. I will stay here again for its value (assuming the company isn't picking up the tab for a nicer hotel!)

Signature stunts in his hilarious and interactive 90-minute show include handshakes that induce vocal, sexual responses, as well as several other tricks so shocking, we can't even print them. Cools pushes the limits of the mind and body, while remaining careful not to embarrass his subjects, a courtesy that has earned him a cult following. Enjoy the lush surroundings of a manicured French garden from a private Pool Villa or Cabana. Cabanas include misters, ceiling fan, sofa bed with coffee table, patio table, 4 patio chairs, 5 padded lounge chairs, refrigerator stocked with soda, juice and water, phone, local/cable TV, fruit basket, newspaper, 2 complimentary raft rentals, pool towels, and cabana host/hostess and food server. Pool Villas are air conditioned rooms with a sunbathing courtyard, and have all these amenities, plus radio/CD player and 32" LCD flat screen TV. Cocktails and Food Service is available. Due to the limited number of Cabanas and Villas, reservations are strongly recommended. With the new Pet Stay Initiative, Paris Las Vegas is now pet friendly! Book special Pet Stay rooms at a slightly increased fee, and stay with your favorite pet. Guests traveling with their dog will be asked to fill out a waiver form accepting responsibility for any damage or cleaning charges that may occur while at the hotel. Dogs are only allowed in specified guestrooms and guests must make reservations in advance to travel with their dog. The hotel only allows dogs that weigh less than 50 pounds and up to two dogs are allowed per room. Please note that guests MUST book the Pet Friendly room category in order to bring their dog on property. *** Guests must be 21 or older to check into this property. *** An additional-person charge will apply to all persons staying in the room, regardless of age. We regret that children cannot stay free. *** PLEASE NOTE- At time of check-in, each individual guest will be required to provide the hotel with a valid credit card or cash deposit in the amount of $100 per each day of guest stay if paying via credit card, or $200 for the entire guest stay if paying via cash (the $200 cash deposit will only activate in-room mopvies and phone)."

Hotel is beautiful! Clean rooms, great views from the upper floor we were on. Some guests were having an arguement in the hallway and it was loud, but that was the only pitfall. Just a lovely time with a good buffet that was superior to the Bellagio buffet. Could spend days alone walking thru the Paris Hotel and be entertained.

Great location, right in the middle of it all. We have stayed here before right after it opened; love the architecture and the smaller casino setting. The entire staff was very friendly and the rooms very comfortable just need to be a little cleaner for that caliber of hotel. I.e. room service trays left in the hallway for the first 2.5 days (same tray) until we called and then they corrected it. Over all very nice place to stay if you don’t want the mega hotel/casino setting.

Description
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is the world's first and only Rock 'n' Roll Hotel and Casino. The Hotel is a multi-million dollar investment in rare rock-n-roll memorabilia. The casino offers over 70,000 square feet of gaming - including a sports book and sports bar. The Hard Rock also features The RockSpa, a state of the art athletic club, spa and salon. The Beach Club is a tropical 3-1/2-acre paradise with sandy beaches, whirlpools, Tahitian-style luxury day cabanas, a beach side bar and grill, underwater music and even swim up blackjack. The Hard Rock is also home to the Joint, an intimate venue where some of music's most influential artists have performed, including Rolling Stones, Sheryl Crow, Sting, No Doubt, and Matchbox Twenty. The Hotel offers the world's largest Hard Rock retail store as well as Concierge service, and 24-hour valet and room service. Reliquary - Water Sanctuary and Spa has been designed to create a complete spa experience that stands out in a crowded marketplace and becomes a destination spa experience, rather than just one more hotel amenity. It guarantees to provide first class facilities, services and products combined with the Hard Rock's own unique twist. Reliquary's feature pool is a 2,500 sq/ft. Roman Style Bath House. The Roman Bath House was traditionally a place where people went to be seen, socialize and do business as well as getting invigorated and clean. The Hard Rock version is similar in function but the Romans never lived life this good! Wasted Space is a lavishly decadent rock club that brings authentic high-end rock n roll culture to Las Vegas, creating a one-of-a-kind nightlife experience. It will be the only place in Las Vegas where you can truly get up close and personal with rock legends as well as the hottest new bands before they break. The first and only one of its kind, the new Poker Lounge at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino boasts a full bar and lounge, private VIP rooms, bottle service, iPod stations, and big screen TVs. New to the game? Free lessons available. A government-issued ID will be required at check-in. Guest must be 21 or older to check in. Guest must have a valid credit card to check in. Towers to the rooms are very near the entrances so you can come and go without wandering through the casino. Excalibur is close to the freeway, on the strip, and Tropicana runs by the side of it. It is easy to travel from. Our room had two queen size beds, they were comfortable and the room had granite accents. It was attractive, quiet, and we had a great time. We would recommend this to other travelers.

For my first trip and my first stay in the City that Never Sleeps, it was wonderful. My room was a fantastic, quiet place to retreat to at the end of a very busy, fun-filled day. I was able to enjoy a welcome water massage at the end of one long day, enjoyed the entertainment of the penny slots and the excitement of the tables, and the food was fabulous. A great variety of choices and things to do without ever leaving "home."

A really central position making it easy to walk either way up or down the strip, or catch the regular bus. Though the rooms in the block we stayed in were tired, they were large and had all the necessary amenities. A great view to boot, overlooking the Paris hotel and part of Bellagio. Would recommend it and would stay again.

I travel to Vegas at least once a year and usually stay at various hotels around town. This hotel offers a great variety of comfort, but lacks the it factor. Here is an example. Free Starbucks coffee, but their breakfast is always the same: a pork product, eggs, bread that you can toast and fruit. There is cereal and oatmeal to choose from too. The thing is, the quality is ok. Could it be better? Yes. For the cost, it's like a one tier less Residence Inn Las Vegas South (for those of you who know of this place). The bed was comfortable, the bath was hot and the room was overall clean. If you are looking for value, stay here. 4 stars.

Everything was great. Excellent view, perfect shopping, awesome places to eat (except Cut, avoid that place like the plague). Room was large, space to spread out, quiet and clean. Housekeeping staff were on the ball and did a wonderful job, valet was quick and friendly, the entire hotel staff was really good. Will be back!

My wife and I had a great experience here. I purchased the luxury view suite - we were on the 44th floor overlooking the Venetian and the Strip. We rented a car and used the self-parking, which was easier than I could have ever imagined. Definitely recommend!

Description
Tropicana Las Vegas redefines the expectations of today's global travelers with a recently completed $180 million transformation which provides a true resort experience. In addition to a vibrant and exciting motif with a South Beach, Miami rhythm and vibe, the transformation of the hotel, resort and casino includes a fresh redesign of every best-in-class room and suite, the casino, the conference center and exhibition hall, several new restaurants, bars, a new poker room, a new race and sports book, and a new spa and fitness center. The look and feel of the new Tropicana is vibrant and exciting, filled with the casual and sultry rhythm of a hot South Beach night. Tropicana Las Vegas is not affiliated with any other Tropicana property or brand. Each new, best-in-class room is styled in a sunset palette of warm shades and appointed custom designed furnishings, plantation shutters, a sleek chaise or workspace desk, king or two queen size ultra-plush Euro Top Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses and 300-thread count linens. In-room entertainment is also transformed with a 42" flat panel plasma TV, an iHome clock radio with a universal docking station and wireless internet. Differing greatly from most of the traditional Las Vegas hotel rooms and suites, Tropicana Las Vegas offers a bright, fresh, comfortable and casual setting accented by soft-colored furnishings. While the Paradise Tower is located near the casino floor and designed for the leisure traveler who wants to be in the heart of Tropicana's hot, new vibe, the 806-room Club Tower's accommodations are a perfect option for business travelers throughout the week and for Nikki Beach Las Vegas clientele on weekends. Each best-in-class room in the Club Tower offers oversized workspaces, free Wi-Fi and is adjacent to Tropicana Las Vegas' Conference Center facilities. There is nowhere else in Las Vegas where you can experience this level of luxury at such affordable rates!

Good Value

  • BandD Verified Customer
  • 23 Jan 2012
There are a lot of hotel choices in Vegas and we found this one to be a good value for the price. Our room was in the club tower--it was newly remodeled, clean, and had a decent view. Our only real disappointment was that the pool was closed, and the pool was the main reason we chose the Tropicana--so even if the website says the pool is heated, you might want to check with the hotel. The night club was just opening up--and we recommend it. Again, there are a lot of choices for clubs--but this one was new and fresh, had a good DJ and just all around fun.

Caesars is fantastic. Great location, extremely clean, much better air quality inside (much less smoky) compared to some other places, everything looks new, friendly and helpful staff. Everything is fantastic except the food. The food at the Caesars is good, but not fantastic; hence my over rating of 4 stars out of 5.

This was my first time in vegas and I liked it the hotel was at the far north end but we did not mind, the walking was not that bad it was the best way to see every single hotel and casino on the strip the bus was accessible right outside the hotel. overal I would recommend this hotel to friends especially if they are traveling with kids.

I was in LV for a very short business trip. I picked Circus Circus for its proximity to my meeting. The hotel itself is fine, but is definitely showing its age. Location is a bit off the main strip so if you are looking for a convenient location, I would choose something closer to the action. Amenities were okay but many of rides and video games in the Adventure Dome were out of order. Rooms were clean and staff are professional.

My friend and I arrived around 4:30pm on Friday, driving from Los Angeles. Due to the weekend being 11/11/11, the rooms were getting packed quickly, so I wasn't able to get non-smoking, but my reservation was smoking with non-smoking being a side request. The room itself was very clean and the smell of smoke was so faint that it didn't even bother us. That, and the casino's have smoke it them anyway, so it didn't really matter about the room being a smoking room cause we knew we'd have that smell on us anyway. We stayed in a room that was next to an exit and the parking wasn't even an issue. I was able to park in a stall next to the exit door, so it make for quick access to my room...literally 15ft away, awesome! I loved that cause we didn't have to walk through a casino, then another lengthy walk through the parking lot (should we have chosen not to use valet) just to get to my car. It was super convenient! The bed was very comfortable and they had a great HD flat panel tv which had several HBO channels that I was surprised, but pleased to see. The hotel itself is located just across the 15 freeway from the strip, and the freeway entrance is prob about 100 yrds from the hotel which was awesome! It's literally a 1-2 minute drive to hit the strip (less then a half mile), and you arrive by the MGM and New York New York casinos as you approach the strip. This hotel is a great option if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of a casino, and avoid the valet and resort fees. I will absolutely stay here again, and will prob not ever stay at a casino unless the event requires I do so. This hotel is just too convenient! We loved it!

Hotel is old and we didn't not like the resturants! Price was great for the room, house keeping was good, hotel location is good, in the middle of the strip. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful! I would come back again since we basically were only there to sleep and the price was great!

As a bargain travel hunter, I did enjoy the space and the staff was wonderful from check-in to room cleaning to croupiers. The shows were high caliber, especially for the price. When I ordered room serivice (which I thought was overpriced compared to other hotels I have visited), they got the order wrong and it did take longer than an hour. The building needs some upkeep. Light covers were missing int he hall sconces and the carpets were dirty and stained in the hallways and elevators. I will stay there again, but I hope they address some of those issues.
