Alexis Park LV Dec 2011

Relatively decent price to stay for the price of approx $60 per night. Needs more attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. Dusty corners, dead insect on floor...and...my reason for not ever returning... a COCKROACH! Bed was older style with mattress, box, and springs...not the most comfortable. Spacious. Bottom of bathtub scraped/chipped paint(?) missing. Maybe low end room??

Loved It

Best hotel experience BY FAR! I will always book this hotel every time i go to Vegas now. The rooms were beautiful, the prices were'nt bad, the pools were nice, and the staff was amazing. Also, its not too far from the strip so it was a win win situation.

I travel A LOT, this was a killer deal

I travel quite a bit and know the general cost of rooms, for Vegas, Halloween weekend, it was out of the park good deal! Animal friendly, easy parking, Re modeled room. You can tell the place probably was a apartment or condo before, none the less, for the price, there IS no better in vegas. I paid 90 to stay at excalibur off peak and was dissapointed.

Pretty decent

The hotel doesn't look that great from the outside but the rooms are big! Kitchenette with micro and fridge, separate living room and bedroom. Beds are very comfortable. Shower could've used a cleaning before we came, cracks in the floor and some in ceiling. Pool is very nice with a fountain and sitting area beneath it. Breakfast buffet was terrible though at $13.95 and not much to choose from. Location to the strip is good as you can go around the backside down Kaval Lane. I would stay here again, but eat somewhere else.

Reasonable, and close enough to strip

We stayed on our way out to Lake Tahoe and on our return trip...for the price, it was very good. Ate at the restaurant on return trip and it was very good, and good value.

Restaurant had good food and good value. You CAN walk to the strip; but since it was late we caught a cab back.

Perfect location!!

We've stayed at the Alexis Hotel before, that was the reason for this hotel as our choice this time. Overall we were satisfied with the Alexis; however we would have loved to have gotten a room close to one of the pools, on the inner portion of the resort grounds.

The resort is located a few blocks off the Strip, which is great because you can stay away from all of the traffic and take the back streets to where you want to go.

Family friendly

Overall, we had a good experience at this hotel. We were there for a dance convention, so there were a lot of people checking in when we arrived around 5:00 pm. We were told they were all sold out of the rooms that had the 2 beds in a separate bedroom. But then friends of ours who checked in after we did got the bigger room. Pools were not too crowded. It was nice that I did not have to walk my kids through smoky casinos to get to the dance convention ballrooms.
