Going the Extra with Bill's.

When we decided to stay at Bill's we knew they offered rooms with a view of the strip. A few weeks prior to our trip, we called and requested one. We were told the cost would only be $10 to $20 extra per night. Much to our surprise, when we arrived, we were told that we would not incur any extra cost and that they offered it to us at "no extra cost"....now that is great customer service!

Nice small hotel on the strip

We changed our reservation shortly before our trip. And we are glad we chosse the Bill´s Gamblin Hall and Saloon. It might not compeed with one of the big hotels but it is right in the center of the strip and has a good price. You can by the reduced tickets at the counter right at the front of the Hotel. We would always take it again !

Location

Overall I think the hotel was over priced. The room was clean. If you want to stay on the strip and this hotel is in your price range, it works.

Smell was very bad

When turning on the shower and sink water there would be a horrible sewage smell. The drainage in shower/tub was very slow. Water was way above my ankles within three minutes in to my shower.

LOVED it!!!

The hotel decor and room reminded me of the old days, but without appearing worn and run down. The location is perfect - right in the middle of where you want to be. Easy walking distance (2-5 minutes) to the best spots on the strip. Will definitely stay here again. Only down spot is they don't have a pool, but guests can use the Flamingo's at no charge.

Loved this place!

We chose Bill's after reading many reviews of many hotels, when we were looking for something within a modest budget. Bill's was everything we'd hoped for and more. We stayed in room 250. Room was very spacious, and extremely clean. Hotel staff were all very friendly, casino staff were awesome - I haven't laughed so much in ages! Location is perfect - right in the middle of it all. The only thing I'd have them improve upon, is that there is no coffee maker in the room, the restaurant does not sell coffee 'to go', there is coffee available at the bar but they don't have lids for their cups - so a travel mug would be a good idea (in hindsight, they sell those at the gift shop!) I had to go across the street to the Flamingo to get coffee to go (and it wasn't cheap!) The Victoria Room restaurant was good, and the Steak House was excellent. 2 of the 3 in my party won $100 in comps through their daily drawing, so we ate well for free in both restaurants. I would highly recommend Bill's, and if I make it back to Vegas again, that's where I'll be staying!

Bring a travel mug so you don't have to go too far to get a morning coffee to have in your room.

Great Location

Great price and great location! If you spend most of your trip by Caesar's and the Bellagio and want to stay for cheap, Bill's is an excellent choice.

good for the money....good location

this is one of those hotels that's perfect if you aren't spending much time in your room or in your hotel. It's a good location, rooms clean, amenities were a little off since you have to go to Flamingo for pool, spa, fitness center.

Perfect location, best price

Perfect location. Right in the middle of the strip, very convenient. Steps away from the Bellagio, Caesars, Flamingo, Paris,... We didnt need a car at all, we just walked. Not as fancy as the Bellagio or Caesars, doesnt have a pool, older look to it, no airport shuttle, but it's clean, staff is ok and the rooms are comfy. If you want to save your money, for the price and location, it cannot be beaten. Internet isnt free, like all other hotels in the area anyways.
