Right on the Strip
The check in process was brutal. We arrived on a Monday morning around 10:30 and had a very long wait in a slow moving line. There were only two agents on duty and this with a major Rodeo event in town! The front desk staff seemed to be impervious to the inconvenience of such a long wait. Other than the gruesome check in experience, the accommodations were nice. Great location on the strip.

Long walk from hotel
Use Bus pass. Its 7$ for 24 hours, which was a great saving. Monorail is also a good option but with bus you will get more leverages to stop anywhere.

An old hotel in Las Vegas
An excellent location just in almost center of the Strips. But the rooms is small, old and not so clean. No WiFi and free internet access available. You may feel lost during your stay. Food is not as good as you expect in Vegas.

New Year's stay at Harrah's
Spent NYE 2012 at Harrah's. The room itself was average and there really wasn't a lot to complain about. I chose Harrah's because it's right on the strip. The location is great. It's centrally located and you can pretty much walk to anywhere on the strip pretty quickly. The casino itself isn't as great say MGM or Caesar's, but it was alright.

Average Stay
This was our 4th visit to LV and we have had better rooms, although the location could not be beat. We had problems with the TV, connecting to the Internet and were unhappy without a fridge, but we made do. We opted for a 'Deluxe' room upgrade and found that although it may have had a recent facelift, it was still smaller than expected. There was no room for the two of us to unpack completely as there were only three drawers. The room was clean and all encountered staff were friendly and helpful.
